The holyspirit came through🤗

Lately, i have developed this undying want to know God more and to relate with him deeper.(the bible itself says that deep calleth unto deep) It's been a wonderful experience coupled with the fact that i get to pray and fellowship with the holyspirit more. It was all planned out that at very 2am my alarm wakes me up to pray (i won't lie most times i wake up and put the alarm off😂 and continue my sleep) but something extraordinary happened a week ago and i am still in awe of the love God has for me.
Last week Thursday i had no plans of goong for choir rehersals because of cash availability (if you are Nigerian you'd understand😂).But somehow my spirit was troubled because i have never intentionally stayed away from choir rehearsals,so i made some calls trying to source for an available means of transportation that i could afford at the time. I finally made it to church at about 6:30pm (rehearsals starts by 6pm though) everything went on well and then we dismissed at 8pm.
I had my church adopted father drop meat a trekable distance to my home,did my evening routine then proceeded to having dinner afterwhich i tried sleeping but sleep eluded me. I proceeded to seeing a movie titled DIE HART and EMILY THE CRIMINAL😊. Finished both movies at about 11:30pm but then i still couldn't close my lids to sleep.
Just then i began to have this nudge in my spirit to pray at 12am since sleep wasn't coming,i started praying at 11:46 and ended at 12:56am. I tried forcing myself to sleep again but couldn't as my spirit wasn't satisfied with me.The nudge became very intensed then i heard the holyspirit say to me 'chant in the spirit'😚 i began chanting and chanting until tears began to drop from my eyes but i didn't stop until i had satisfied my spirit man. At 1:46am i proceede to studying the word of God (i read through the book of numbers and psalms after which i rounded up with the Lord's prayers before retiring to the bed)
Not sure i had even started dreaming when a loud bang woke me up. Stretching forward i got hold of my tecno phone got it lighted,and headed to where my broom is usually kept so i could kill a roaches i saw while waking up.It was right at that moment i heard voices from my neighbours room echoing 'heys come and open this door, abi you no dey hear say i dey talk to you? I say open this door else i shoot from here'i guess my neighbour who shared a room his his coursemate from school was really frightened because omo i had dried from my end🤣😀
The manner at which i carefully dropped the broom i had picked, tiptoed to put off my electric fan and then headed to put of my refrigerator needs to be studied🤣 (i think i killed that scene if it were to be on screen) fear had gripped me and i sat motionless on the bed waiting and praying to be exempted🤦‍♀️ did i tell you that about 2am dot my alarm went off loudly😔 (me to me!!this phone intends to put me in trouble this night) while the robbery was ongoing in the other room, i quickly got hold of my phone and turned it off. The robbery was so intensed that the calabar south in me had hinted that i open my door and step out😏(but to do what exactly🤷‍♀️) when all the able bodied men in my place of residents were prolly more frightened than i was in my room.There is just something about the holyspirit and his words that i still can't place it, while all of this was ongoing the holyspirit dropped a scripture to my heart (psalm 34:7) i repeatedly said that scripture till i was at peace,with no more fear if they would enter my room🤗 (it was so soothing that i began praising and thanking God in my head.About some minutes pass 2am the robbers had left the premises and boy!! Was i glad!! Even though i lost sleep and had to stay awake till morning.
These days all i do is continually tell God thank you for exempting me and i pray never to experience such ordeal ever again
