Creator Economy: Things I have learned So Far

I have been writing on Hive for few years. I think in 3 years of the stay here I have learned how the creators and the economy around them work. I wanted to put my views down on how to be a better creator in the social networks where you get rewarded with crypto.

I have experienced some of the social networks like hive, publish0x, inleo, flame, cent etc. Some of those are ethereum based like 1up etc. But eventually many of them faded away. So I am sticking with those social media which bring some results and earn some rewards.

Let's talk about what we can learn from the creator economy.

Don't keep egg in Single Basket

Some people are only on one crypto social network. And that is not going to end well for them. As the single social network would give them limited returns for the time invested. So it'd be reasonable to invest their efforts into the multiple social network. No need to hate others.

Just spread your efforts across many other social networks and try to schedule content if you can to save your time and also it'd give you more options too. Having more options means different crypto stacks up.

Stay away from drama. Stack your coins.

When you remain on one social network you tend to invite the drama. And then you also have opinions. I have made a habit to stay on hive for not more than 1 hour. I make sure to interact, create content and leave the place. More you be friendly not every people would like to have you around.

So when you diverisfy and spend the time by making the small batches of the time for your efforts on social media. Instead spend time and earn those coins and build your portfolio. Drama makes your stay small term. So avoid drama and too much connections to get yourself from nuked.

Find opportunities

I have written many articles related to the Fintech. And through which I am trying to connect with some blockchain outreach programs, this way I would like to get those blogging jobs. And I would be able to do those per content based jobs which can pay me some of the bills. And this would open up a lot of opportunities too.

Another thing is that finding the right set of the opportunities would be building our portfolio. And people who want to give you job need some of the samples for the content. You can use these sites as a portfolio. And this is one of the ways you can get those outreach bloggers job too.

Creator economy is cool. And if you can find your way through it would show you things you can do with it. I have learned many other things along the way.
