A young, likely US democratic voter—can't handle that she has to pay over $18,000 in taxes while making around $100k a year. Many young people feel like this, but hopefully, this can serve as a realization that we cannot entirely rely on the government to provide us with our necessities and wants. The private market is the way to go! They know this, but they have to change their voting patterns.
