Navigating Public Opinion: Striking a Balance

People often prioritize public opinion excessively. Allowing public perception to govern your life compromises independence. It steers one towards serving others' opinions rather than focusing on personal or familial growth. Public opinion does hold relevance in the realm of fame, fostering enthusiasm for causes. Yet, for those not in the public eye, striving for self-reliance reigns supreme, detached from the need for public approval. This encompasses avoiding working for businesses misaligned with personal interests and community values.

If you can get fired from your position just because of mean comments, you hold no power as a man. To realize your position in life is to live a fulfilled life with no regrets so long as you act on that impulse. You should never let public opinion directly control your life, especially if acting in written form—theories, thoughts, explanations, and observations should freely be expressed, observed, and critiqued. Proper criticism is needed for horrible thoughts, not total rejection (up to a certain point).

I don't fear public opinion; I don't exist to bow down to others—that's not why God created me.

If a place does not have the principles and values that you possess or expect, you should not be there. When you say that, it reminds me of a lot of things that happen in the workplace.

Many current jobs are against the family, and the development of personal life.
The mother of my ex-boss was criticizing a girl who at the age of 26 had had a child. The girl was his employee.

Some bosses don't want people to have a life outside of work, they think they can control even the uncontrollable.

Sometimes you have to listen, be attentive to how your bosses think, this will give you a good idea of the company's values. Especially if I really valued your work, or not.
