Bidenomics Is Bad For Poor Americans
Since Joe Biden assumed office, the United States has witnessed a concerning increase in food prices, with inflation soaring by over 24.4%. This steep rise in food costs has dealt a severe blow to vulnerable households, particularly those already struggling to make ends meet. Unfortunately, the situation shows no signs of stabilizing yet.
Adding to the economic turmoil, year-over-year inflation on all consumer goods has risen by 3%. While this figure may appear relatively small, it further exacerbates the financial strain experienced by low-income families. The steady increase in prices across the board only serves to deepen the inequality gap and hinder the efforts to alleviate poverty in the country.
Despite promises of economic recovery and a fairer distribution of wealth, Joe Biden’s presidency has failed to provide substantial relief to those suffering from inflation. The absence of effective measures to counter rising prices places an undue burden on struggling households, making it harder for them to put food on the table and meet their basic needs.
As we find ourselves in July 2023, it becomes increasingly apparent that further action is required to combat inflation and protect vulnerable families.
