LOVE VS FINANCIAL SECURITY
Since I am forced to choose, I will speak of love as more important even though it could be highly difficult to sustain love if hardship arrives. Some would even subscribe to the opinion that love is best tested in the face of hardship, that though could be true but it shall not be part of our discuss today.
To sustain long term relationships, the need for financial security can certainly not be overlooked. If the relationship must be a long lasting one, then the need of the children probably yet to be born must be considered. In some sense, I see financial security as that which perfects love. Though families may not be extravagantly rich but the absence of their basic needs might bring about chaos.
In any relationship, love for me is the most important. It is love that sustains relationships and it should be at the fore front. Though financial security is important but it can always come, it is the case that sometimes patterns who are in love work together to bring about a perfect future for themselves. Once love is established every other thing can fall in place. That notwithstanding, I am of the opinion that partners do all that is in their power to financially secure the future of the children yet to come before bringing them forth. If there be enough to take care of the children's need, the family being built on love will most likely be a happy one.
Though both are important, but to place financial security over love in a relationship will be completely out of place. Any relationship void of love will most likely be void of happiness and I do not wish such relationship for anyone. It's simple, people who are in a relationship should love themselves. If they are truly in love, then they can archive anything together, even financial security. It is love that determines how far a relationship would go.
When I speak of financial security, I do not speak of acquiring all the wealth in the world. I simply speak of having enough to take care of the basic need of the family. Family then should see need to plan even when there is abundant of love. It could even be the case that the number of their be dependent on how much they have. Love though is capable of doing lots of powerful things but it may not be able to put food on the table when hardship arrives.
