Pink Flower Blossom Parade

About 10 days ago I took some flower blossom photos and after reviewing them on my laptop, I regret it not taking more photos. Pink is not really my world, but as I said earlier it is ok when it comes to flowers. A light pink can be actually enjoyable.

Saturday the weather looked nice, so I thought it was a good time to go back and try to take some more photos. The truth is, these trees are almost everywhere, they are not rare, but that does not men you can take photos of them everywhere. These trees usually are along the road, on the sidewalk and this is why the lower branches are cut down so people can walk under them without getting hurt. Because of this, the nearest branch that you could take some photos of is so high you can't get to them.

This place I went to is an exception as it's in a park and it was spared of human barbarism. The branches are left as mother nature created them, so I could go closer to take some decent photos.

With this in mind and a big smile on my face I went there, hoping to get the same scene as last time. When I got there, What happened was I got a huge slap on my face. Why? Because the tree was there of course, but the buds were all open and almost none was left for me to photograph.

Nothing to be worried about as you can always adjust your goals and do what you can under the given circumstances. I used to say there's no such thing as bad weather, you just need to adjust your focus. Saturday we had a beautiful weather, warm, with a nice blue sky, so here it is what I did.

These are not buds, but open flowers, but still have their own beauty.

And finally the day has come, when I don't have to edit my photos.

While I was taking these photos, I tried to decide on whether I like these fully open flowers more, or the buds. It's not a secret that I have a thing for buds and most likely it's the buds I choose. The texture of the buds and the color is different, sometimes more interesting than an open flower.

I was wondering how much time we spend on editing and processing photos and how easy it would be if we would not have to do that.

20230422_104234a.jpg

With technology evolving like crazy, I suppose one day we're going to have built in apps that could process the photos on the spot and offer you automatically a few options, without asking.

We're not there yet, but today I was blessed with these photos that I did not need to edit.

Gorgeous photos. I love the soft pink color of the blooming tree as well although pink is not my favourite color. I was just in the park and made some photos of this tree as well. However no close ups. Lovely.

I think this soft, light pink is quite enjoyable, especially when it comes to flowers. I'm glad to hear you got some photos as well.

Amazing pictures! Do you happen to know the name of those trees/flower blossoms? I think I've never seen one of those in here.

I don't know the name of the tree, so I need to go back and check the fruits if they will have any.

The photos are stunning and the color saturation enviable. The contrast is also excellent.
What camera are you using?
I would say that the post-processing solution gets your photographs back, but I'm convinced it ruins the moment you took the shot. This is why I am a film enthusiast: either the photograph was right or it was wrong. Correcting some of the apertures can only be done in the darkroom, and if you don't have it at home you have to get the photograph right right right away.
And given the result you have no problem!
Congratulations!

Thank you! I'm using my smartphone camera, a Samsung Galaxy F62, not exactly high end.
I think neither photographing, nor filming is easy and your conditions are the same, so you have to learn and master both. Practice, practice, practice.

Hi Erikah, any idea the name of these flowers? I first saw them in a park in Ukraine and couldn't resist taking some photos of mine with them. I guess somewhere in Hive I have posted those photos... After coming to NL, I see these flowers almost everywhere near the streets or in people's gardens. They are really beautiful and the color of this flower is so soothing... I will try to take some photos tomorrow and will share them with you :D :D

Hello Priyan. I don't know what tree this is. Wikipedia says it's East Asian Cherry, so 🤷‍♀
I think these are very common in Europe as the climate is kind of the same, with some exceptions of course.

I hope you can take some photos of them where you are. It brightens your day for sure :)

I see you have the habit of dropping a link to your post in comnents. It may seem like a good idea to you, till it backfires and you find yourself heavily downvoted for comment spamming.

You have two choices here. You stop this and act like a respectful users who comment because they are interested in the topic of the post. Or continue spamming everyone with unsolicited links and suffer the consequences.

I'm going to ignor this for now, but you're on my shitlist and the minute I see you drop the next link to someone, you have my full attention and it's not going to be nice.

Have a nice day.

Really beautiful pictures, you did great with what you had, and if you didn't edit the pictures that means you master the light and color wish is very difficult, congratulations!

I did not edit the photos this time, which is rare. Most of the times editing is needed because the light is not appropriate, there's no sunshine and so on. I was lucky I think. Blue sky can work miracles.

Your photos of the pink flower blossoms are stunning! I am so glad that you went back to take more photos and found a spot where the branches were left untouched by human intervention. It's impressive how you adapted to the situation and captured the beauty of the fully open flowers.

It's also great to see that you appreciate the natural texture and color of buds, and how you are always thinking ahead about the future of technology in photography. Your passion and dedication to photography are truly inspiring.

Keep up the fantastic work, and don't forget that sometimes the best shots come from unexpected situations. I can't wait to see more of your beautiful photos in the future!

Thank you @old-man-chu58 for the nice words. Yes, I kind of like buds better as they have more to offer, when it comes to photographing, but you know how life is. You must appreciate what you get and adapt to each and very situation. Waiting for the perfect situation can leave you with nothing.

I too love to photograph the bud stages of the trees. I find them very interesting for sure. I agree, some day it would be nice not to have to take so much time editing photos. Yours today are stunning.
