From AG7 To Bombs And Machine Guns

Today I'm going to show you another batch batch of the special forces exhibition photos. For me this was a great occasion to learn about the weapons, vehicles, communication tools and other equipment and a great joy to share it with you. I hope some of you have enjoyed browsing through the photos. Most likely there will be a while till I can visit such an exhibition again, but let's not lose hope. Let's see if there will be one next year as well, or in another city or country.

On the second floor of the bastion there was a lot of equipment an ammunition as well.

20230301_115756a.jpg

I'm going to try to explain what you see here. I think the helmet is obvious, no need to indicate which one is it. The two beasts are machine guns, one of 5.45mm and the other is of 7.62mm and a thermal imaging scope model ODIN.50. So I suppose the one at the top is the 5.45mm and the other with the scope is the 7.62mm. If I'm wrong, don't shoot me 😂.

@depressedfuckup see? There are detailed technical descriptions for everyone to see.

20230301_115829a.jpg

These are airsoft products, replica guns and other equipment. I had a look at the company website and you can buy an airsoft gun for 100€ or even for less, with 100 bullets.

20230301_115850a.jpg

From left to right, you see a guy dressed in army gear, nest, on the upper side of the display you see a main standard parachute PS-01-00M, below the spare parachute PS-02-00. Below there's a backpack for for the transport of military equipment.

A life jacket for paratroopers VS-PST-01, adjustable cover for individual weapons HRAI 001, next to it is a material parachute system and a container.

20230301_115938a.jpg

Rescue parachute, RFS II with Cypres 2 Air Crew. This was a company selling parachutes, flight equipment and military clothing.

20230301_115947a.jpg

This was like paradise, full of goodies for everyone. Obvious I could not buy a helmet as thank God we're not there yet for a military helmet to be needed, but there were gloves and other things you could use, in case you need.

20230301_115955a.jpg

20230301_120000a.jpg

Salomon FORCES military boots. I see you can buy them at $200 $250 or so. The question is where to wear these. Undoubtedly good quality and needed if you're in the field.

20230301_120012(0)a.jpg

20230301_120047a.jpg

And there were these. I guess I should have taken some close up photos of the labels, to be able to tell you which is which ans specifics too, but there was no time.

20230301_120051(0)a.jpg

These were bigger toys for bigger boys. Infantry weapons.

20230301_120100a.jpg

What you see on the left of the photo are bombs of 60 mm caliber, the small ones. The others in the back are of 80 - 81 mm with electronic focus and those next to them are bigger. And two launchers on the ground.

This is a 81mm, long range launcher with deflector.

This is a newer version of the AG7. I saw one years ago, when you could not see weapons like this unless you were in the army, where they were using these. Yeah, I am lucky, I was in the right place at the right time. So I had a chat with the guy on the first floor, the one who offered to take a photo of me with the gun and told him I saw and AG7. He was a bit shocked, he thought I was in the military as he knew very well, you don't see these big toys on every corner.

20230301_120234a.jpg

An there were these. I was laughing after the exhibition as spoke to a friend who was also at the exhibition but at a later time. He told me he picked up one of the assault weapons and thought you could just pick them up, but each of them were tied to the stand. Lol.

So at the top you see an 5.56x45mm assault rifle, model 2021, made in Romania. There are two 7.62x39mm submachine guns on the table, two different models. The one in front of the table is a 7.62x54mm Commando machine gun.

Most of you find these photos fascinating and wish you could be there to hold one, or hold and try all of them. Yes, it seems like a cool activity, but just stop for a minute and try to think differently. Imagine the training those guys went through, for months, years. How much pain and suffering till they get to handle and use these guns. Imagine yourself taking apart a gun like any of these while you have to fin in a certain time frame. The put it together just as fast and maybe blindfolded. Let's not forget that these guns are not toys, these are not like what you hold in your virtual games, far from it.

What a great exhibition.

I've always wanted to go to one but in the area where I live I've never had the chance.

Thanks for sharing my friend

I don´t like guns in general so personally I don´t find these photos fascinating but I´m glad that a big part of your regular audience did enjoy these military posts :) I accidentally happened to visit a similar exhibition in Mexico. There was everything from guns and military vehicles to airplanes, kitchen equipment, military technologies etc. Even real soldiers from the Mexican Army :)

I took some photos there too but I think I have never published them here. Some people would probably enjoy them but I wouldn´t so no need to force it...

I'm surprised there was such an exhibition in Mexico, with all those things, but I'm glad you had the chance to visit. It's a lifetime opportunity, even if you don't like guns in general. Yes, some find joy in these. For me it was more like a learning experience and I'm glad I can show these photos to those who may never get to visit such exhibitions.

Yes, it was a big one. The exhibition lasted several days and there must have been thousands of visitors. I think it was organized on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Mexican Constitution.

Lol yes, I see.

Those military boots look really nice. I know I’d buy em if I could afford them. Not with intentions to join or use in the army, but because even aside use in the army, they look classy and cool.

This was a company selling parachutes, flight equipment and military clothing.

So do they sell to anyone with the money, or certified army personnel only? I assume it’s the latter, because the former will make military personnel(wannabes anyway) out of rich and interested citizens.

(Edited)

I agree, those boots were cool and was looking at the price to be able to let all of you know. I could buy a pair but I'm not hiking frequently and as street wear it's too hot for me. But who knows, one day, when I move to the Alps, may buy a pair 😂

About parachutes. When I said they were selling parachutes, I meant not on the spot, as this was not a fair, but you could get in contact with them and make a deal. I'm not exactly sure but since you, as a civilian can jump with a parachute any time you like, there are schools for that, I suppose anyone can buy them. Also, there are private planes, so I should be able to buy mine if I want to.

Also, you have to make a distinction between army parachutes and those for civilians. I mean the characteristics should be the same, but the design is not. Most likely I could order my personalized parachute if I pay the price.

There's a parachute school where I live, so if I do the medical checkup and pay, could jump anytime 🙂

Mmm how cool would be to jump whenever you wanted?

I don’t think we have a parachute school or anything like that here in Ghana. Lmao I think they army might even be hostile towards any unrecognized planes with many jumpers, because we’re not used to that.

Well every flight has to be registered by the control tower, basically they are giving you permission to take off and land. So regardless if it's a commercial flight or private, the pilot needs to get authorization first. This way those responsible of monitoring air roots don't shoot down non hostile flights.

There's a protocol for unrecognized planes as well, they escort those out of their airspace, but it can come to shooting down the plain if it is necessary.

I hope you can have the opportunity to jump once :)

Mmm if I didn’t know any better, I’d say you’ve been in the army before. You know too much, even for someone that’s been to a lot of these exhibitions😂

I hope you can have the opportunity to jump once :)

I don’t think I’d take the chance if I got it. I don’t do well with heights. Not to mention I’ve never been in a plane itself before, so that should be a start, I think.

Lol, you make me laugh, but no, I haven't been in the army. This is common knowledge, so it's not rocket science.

😂 Flying is the coolest thing you can do! Jumping out of planes ... well, that depends on the individual. But no worries, one thing is damn sure, you won't be stuck up there as you're going to come down one way or another 😂🤣

Wow, excellent display. I have never payed attention to all these stuff about the army, I have learnt something today just by reading this post.

Truth be told, It's easy to get caught up in the excitement of seeing these weapons, but it's important to also appreciate the dedication and sacrifice of those who use them. Thanks for sharing erika

There' no way to pay attention, unless you're close to the army, or in the army.

I'm glad you find it useful.

Mighty weapon I see everytime I go through your exhibition post. You guys enjoyed every moment spent there. Those soldiers went through a lot before they could handle those riffle so it's never easy. I can't go through that training, it's rigorous and tiring. God bless them for all they do. Hope this is not the last post of the exhibition?.

Well not in every post as I go to art exhibitions too :)
The training is definitely not a joyride and many can't even realize it. Trainings are hard for a good reason.

There is one more post about drones and equipment and that is the last one.

I hope the weapons here will never leave the exhibition and people can watch them stand forever. I don't want to think otherwise, some of these are death machines.

I know what you mean, but unfortunately these weapons were designed for a well defined purpose. After the exhibition ended, these weapons went back to where they come from and served that purpose. So yeah, death machines as only a tiny part was airsoft.

Amazing how they make those replicas of all these weapons and accessories with so much detail as if they were originals.
Thanks for sharing the exhibition with us.
