Back To The Art Exhibition
Looks like art will be part of my life as the more exhibitions I visit, the more I am attracted to art. I like diversity, so as long as it's art, I'm ok with it, but you know how life is, you accept what you get. Art exhibitions are organized by different parties and I'm happy with whatever I get, painting, drawing, sculpture, textile art, you name it.
If the exhibition has a mix of artworks, even better. The last exhibition I visited had quite a variety on display, so imagine my joy when I saw it. This was a private collection, so what I saw was the owner's taste in art.
Haystacks
Simple watercolor painting, with a lovely color combination. I have a similar one at home, as far as the colors are concerned, but mine is a watercolor forest.
Visions
This was a precious painting in my eyes, due to the colors. You can buy me with that green combined with blue and this was perfect. Too bad I could not take a decent photo, due to my biggest enemy, when it comes to art. I was thinking of how I could deal with reflection, what solution could I find to be able to take at least half decent photos. I can't go to art exhibitions with a selfie stick.
Riverbank
Autumn Forest
This was a special one in my eyes, due to the colors and the techniques. These brush trikes are a bit rough, but maybe that's the reason the painting looks special to me. It is lovely scene though.
Autumn Forest (2)
This was a gorgeous one, would hang it on my wall any day. The artist is not among us anymore, so the value of his paintings are most likely higher now and it's possible you don't find any of his paintings for sale. Unless you buy it from a private collector. I love this.
Trunk - on the left.
Rupture - on the right.
Simple but expressive.
Landscape
This is a simple style, but I like it. I can't really explain why, but I find beauty in it.
End Of The Village
Looks a bit rough, but this is what life looked like in the village in the past. This is a lifelike illustration of that.
Two artworks by the same author, you most likely see the similarities in style. I can't say it's a style I like, but it is interesting.
Church on The Hilltop
This is another lively one, minimalist in my eyes and therefor nice. It's a simple technique and the artist only used a few colors. The reason I like this is because you can observe and learn how to create something similar. It's pencil on paper, there are no hidden color mixing and priming you have to know. I should try to reproduce this the best way I can and learn, so I can do mine one day.
Another one from the same artist, I like this even better. Those barns were someone's whole treasure once and the artist managed to recreate the scene on paper perfectly.
Still Life
Sunflowers
Sunflowers always remind me of Vincent Willem van Gogh, the famous Dutch Post-Impressionist painter, but these are not those kinds of sunflowers. It's a different composition, it's very lifelike, at least that's how I see it.
Salt Land
I was going to say this is a scene you can see almost anywhere if you go to the woods. The muddy grass looks so real. Then I saw the title. We have salt mines in the country and salt salt mountains, but somehow I did not recognized it on the painting. Regardless, it's a very nice one.
I don't want to say anything yet, but the more time passes, the more I feel I should dedicate some of my time to art. I need to give another try cell painting, which most likely is going to happen towards the end of February, or the beginning of March. The other thing I'd like to try out is graphics and illustration, just for fun.

You loves art and art loves you :P This is really worth to watch. Thanks for sharing. I enjoyed every Painting.
I'm glad to hear that.
I also really like the bluey green one, that colour just catches the eye and draws you in. I know practically nothing about art but I'm learning from your posts :)
I'm also not an art connoisseur, so I write about what I see and what I like. There are so many gorgeous artworks around, but one can never have enough :)
All the portraits are of great sight. Thank you for sharing.
I'm glad you like them.
Thanks @erikah
It is beautiful that you are connected to art, this is a great tool that serves as therapy, personal enrichment and reflection. All the paintings are wonderful, each one conveys a different essence. Thank you very much for sharing, happy afternoon. A hug! @erikah
You are right, art for me serves as therapy, not that I'm sick. But it's nice to step into a different world and forgot about the present. I'm glad you liked them. Have a nice evening.
I personally have love for art and various art works, but it is quite unfortunate that the part of the world which I come from, they do not see the value of art. I studied art at junior high school and from then I have had personal love and attraction for art works. It is part of my dream to open an art center from where I come from.
Then you're a lucky person. Maybe in time others will change their view about art, but unfortunately till their biggest worry is the day by day life, art has little to no place in their life.
Opening an art center would be a huge step and a marvelous thing. I hope you can do it.
Yes please, it’s part of my plans as I grow older, I am trying to make links with great artists so I developed ideas as to how to build up one here.
I will be visiting one this weekend which I will share with everyone here.
Only a real artist appreciates the works of an artist.
I am used to getting bad comments about my art when I started drawing and painting. But there were also people who liked and appreciated my previous works. I like that you are very interested and you appreciated the artworks of others. That is so cute to know.😍
My favorite was VIsion though 😍 Thank you for taking the photos of the artwork. I know it was a hard work becaise of the glass reflections.😊
Getting comments about your artworks is never easy. Some people want to see things they like, but creating art is not by demand, so a good part of the visitors may not like what they see.
Taking photos at an exhibition is always a challenge, but worth it.
I'm sorry you had to face those comments though :)
That was all in the past. Whatever they say, for as long as I am happy and content of my outputs, Im okay.
Thank you for these words. 🥹
I like the painting the church at the hilltop.
I also noticed that you visited a lot of art exhibition lately.
Yes, I'm trying to visit as many as I can as it helps me a lot and it's fun too.
Those are unique and I can say that it's owner has a deep thinking about things.
Same problem with me when there's a glass protecting an art huhu. Real struggles taking the right angle just to get rid of that reflection.
Anyway thanks for sharing those masterpieces.💕
The owner is a happy person. I don't say lucky as this has nothing to do with luck, he had to pay for these artworks.
Reflection is a real pain but what can we do, right?
Simple yet so beautiful ! I love the vision too! it has a strong color combination, and i love the sunflower as well, it does remind me of van goghs sunflower painting.. thank you for walking us through to the art exhibit
