Autumn At Binder Bubi
This morning we woke up to a thick fog and 4C temperature. In these cases there are usually two outcomes. The weather either stays that way for the whole day, or the sun comes out and and the day will turn out great and this is what's happened today. The sun came out and we went for a nice walk, to admire autumn at Binder Bubi in Mediaș, Sibiu county.
The place takes its name from the previous owner, Binder Bubi, who owned the land you're going to see in this post. The land was owned by the Binder family for generations, then after the communists took over, everything was nationalized.
This is the Binder Bubi hotel and spa, a 4* resort, situated above the city, in one of the most picturesque areas of Mediaș.
I only used the swimming pool a few years ago, which was fine back then, but a bit crowded for me. However, I've heard the place is nice.
We didn't want to see the resort today, the purpose of our visit was to see the surroundings and admire autumn, as well as the good weather and the fresh air.
This is the time of the year when nature can offer you so many colors, among which this lovely brownish red, which I love so much.
Leaving the resort and going uphill, you can see the lavender field from far.
After a 10 minutes walk, we spotted the entrance of the ranch that belongs to the company. It is private property, so visiting is not allowed, but admiring the surroundings is for free and accessible.
There's no written history about the place, but looking at these old and wonderful trees, I tend to believe it may have been planted by the previous owners.
Carved wooden gates are not rare around here, but I haven't seen such a beautiful one yet, till now. Those who have designed it have not only had good taste, but also knew how to create something unique and valuable too.
The gate dates back to 2005. As decoration, the artist has used elements of nature, like the son, grapes, acorn, which can be found on the ranch. Along the road there are a lot of oaks and we were stepping on acorns all the time as this is the period for them.
What can I say? This is a real masterpiece.
Walking along the fence we could admire these beautiful colors provided by nature.
I don't know about you but for me this is pure gold, provided by nature.
On the right side, there's a hill covered with trees, that looks like a small forest.
Although it was way past noon till we got there, the grass was still covered by dew, caused by the morning fog. I'm not sure if it is visible on the photo, but you can see the top of the grass is whitish. This would have been a good occasion to take some close-ups, but not without getting very dirty, which I did not want. So I sacrificed the opportunity to keep myself dry and clean.
Coming back we met this cutie pie on the road.
If you want to escape the noise and the stress of the city, this is definitely the place. We met not only walkers but runners too. Although it can be a challenge for the inexperienced, the place id perfect for cross country running. Just make sure you have suitable shoes and the necessary training as injuries can happen easily.
Even though there was no race today I still consider myself a winner as the beautiful weather and these nice colors were for me like a prize. I need to make the most of it till it lasts.

Thank you! It definitely is and that's why I love it 🙂
Wow such beautiful pictures. You’re so luck that you get to explore such beautiful sceneries. Specially in fall everything looks a lot more prettier.
Indeed, I am lucky to have four seasons and be able to enjoy these colors. I'm always trying to take as many photos as I can and share them as I know there are many who don't have this at home.
Congratulations, your post has been added to Pinmapple! 🎉🥳🍍
Did you know you have your own profile map?

Want to have your post on the map too?
I love the colors! My favorites all year round ❤️🤎🧡 The autumn scenarium looks amazing!🍂 and that gate really is a master piece. It reminds me of one I've seen 12 yrs ago, somewhere in Maramures county.
The resort looks cool as well!
P.S. This photo is sublime, like many others. But I think I just found my fav!❤️
Mine too, that's why I love autumn and hunting these scenes now. These wooden gates are very popular and traditional in Secuime too. Obviously every region has its own style but still.
That scene you picked is beautiful 😍
I know I'm not allowed to say that as it's my photo and it's not nice, but it's true 😁
If its a truth, why not? Say it girl! You are allowed! 💛
I think that your gorgeous photo represents the pure beauty of nature! Ohhh I wonder what would be us, humans, without nature!? ....💚
Exactly! This is why we should understand that nature is to use not to abuse and we should start protecting it as well. 😍
The surrounding looks great and beautiful with greenish. Some part here looks like temple. I mean Shaolin temple.lol
Thank you! I need to look up the Shaolin temple as I've never heard of it.
That sounds good and don't forget to share it here with us.
Thanks for sharing
What an idealistic beauty is this walk that you are sharing, the landscape is immense, beautiful, and given to daydreaming, I am infinitely grateful for this autumn that you share of your land, that embraces you when you go out to make the perfect capture of your perception and visualization.☮️
Thank you for allowing me to dream through the lens of your camera, Erika.
I'm glad you like it as indeed is beautiful, worth enjoying every minute of it.

For sure autumn is my favorite season of the year, the vivid colors in the nature makes it a magical season
That's exactly the reason I like autumn.
Gorgeous and striking photos! My favorite is the closeup of the tree with the bright green-yellow leaves.
Thank you! I'm glad to hear you like it :)
What a lovely sight to look at after my long 8 hours of work. The landscape makes me fall in love with Autumn more. (sad we don't have that season in our country).
The gate's intricate design is incredible! You are right its a masterpiece! Looking at it closely reminds me of my Geometry subjects. Hehe, the door is full of complex shape
patterns and designs.
Thanks for this beautiful photos, I feel relaxed looking at it.
I'm glad I could offer you something refreshing, I know what it means.
The gate needed some planning for sure and calculation as well. But the outcome is gorgeous.
Wow! It's so beautiful. 😍I've never seen like this in our country.
Yeah, I'm lucky to have such scenes.
Autumn is beautiful season, love when I have warm clothes and walk in sunny day. Do not like cold wind and rain. The wooden gate with such amazing carving is extraordinary. Can't imagine how much it took the artists to do it.
I don't like wind either but I'm lucky as it's never windy here. I mean we have some breeze from time to time, but compared to Germany, or the Netherlands, this is paradise.
I loved the wooden gate too, it's absolutely marvelous. I suppose there was more than one person working on it.
