That took a lot of courage to make the choices you did. It has to fill you with immense pride that you stood firm and forged your own path. I can imagine legions of your female ancestors are cheering you on from the great beyond! In the end there is nothing greater than the satisfaction of having done your very best and lived life on your own terms.

Yes, it is easy to get carried away by the waves and very difficult to swim against the current. Now I see that having had an illiterate grandmother made me want to become a teacher, for example. There are family loyalties that can be healthy, but also unhealthy. We should not be afraid to cut with some stories. I enjoyed doing this exercise. Best regards and have a nice day, Eric
