Camping at Anak Mas River, Gayo Highland, Aceh

Ending the weekend before entering Ramadan, I decided to visit Anak Mas River Paradise located in Takengon, Central Aceh, for a different camping experience, besides the beautiful natural panorama, there is also white water rafting that can be enjoyed with family.

As soon as I arrived at the location, I was immediately greeted by the fresh mountain air and the soothing sound of the gurgling Anak Mas river. The green scenery that spoils the eyes makes me feel far from the hustle and bustle of the city, like in my residential area in Lhokseumawe.

Traveling 100 km from the city where I live, of course it is not a loss when I arrive at Anak Mas River Paradise. We don't need to bring a tent, because the owner of the place has provided it. We just need to rent it. The tents in the area that has been provided are located not far from the river.

From our tent, I could hear the sound of nature that was so clear and blended with the surrounding nature. After preparing the equipment and preparing lunch, we sat near the river, a very special lunch in my opinion.

I didn't join in, besides not being used to this kind of sport, I was also a little worried after seeing the river current which I thought was quite strong. They looked very excited and were getting ready to go down into the river.

The atmosphere here has an extraordinarily beautiful view. We didn't miss the opportunity to do some light trekking along the river and enjoy the green natural panorama and very fresh air.

There are many interesting photo spots along the way, with the backdrop of towering mountains and winding rivers and very bright weather. The white clouds in the blue sky are very pleasing to the eye.

Camping at Anak Mas River Paradise is not just about sleeping in a tent or getting closer to nature, but also provides an opportunity to relieve stress and enjoy the tranquility.

Here, I feel a peace that is hard to find in everyday life. Spending time with friends, sharing stories, and enjoying the natural beauty of Central Aceh is an unforgettable experience.

Camping at Anak Mas River Paradise left a deep impression, and I will definitely come back again someday to enjoy the natural beauty that is still so pristine, and I really hope that in the future I can join in the white water rafting sport.
