¿Cómo están? Espero que estupendamente. La vida es altos y bajos mientras tanto, no hay qué detenerse..

Lira es uno de mis apellidos, ambos son de orígen portugués, nací en esta tierra bendita - Venezuela - mientras que el 90% de mi familia es de Madeira - Portugal, con la segunda guerra mundial muchos emigraron a otros países. Mi padre amaba mucho la historia universal, de él adquirí estas ganas de culturizarme y leer, de mi madre, adquirí muchas destrezas e inteligencia, de ambos tengo muchas cosas buenas en mis genes que me permiten adaptarme a todos los terrenos que he transitado en mi andar, he podido reinventarme varias veces, hasta que por fin, ahora es tiempo de calma y esperar que tanta lucha en la vida dé sus frutos.

Para nadie es un secreto, siento mucho pero mucho orgullo de mis orígenes, de mis raíces, porque sé lo que es el trabajo duro, superarse, levantarse y llevar una familia adelante. Siento orgullo enorme representar dos culturas diferentes, una europea y otra venezolana, mis padres nos enseñaros a amar las dos y participar en actos culturales, hace poco se celebró el día de la Virgen de Fátima, este es el mes en que todo portugués está de fiesta y celebración, La Casa Portuguesa del Estado Aragua y otras comunidades más pequeñas, invitaban sus celebraciones espectaculares.

En los años 80 y 90 - época de oro - recuerdo con mucha nostalgia mis padres acudir a dichas celebraciones que estaban abiertas a todo publico, toda persona podía ir y deleitarse, ya que eran al aire libre, con grupos musicales portugueses, con música portuguesa tradicional, bailes tradicionales lusitanos, uno que otro cantante reconocido a nivel nacional, también hacían vendimias y los populares fuegos artificiales las 12 de la media noche, no podían faltar, siempre mis padres corrían con nosotros de la mano, aun pequeños, y nos decían, miren eso, es hermoso, y sus ojos se nublaban, caían lágrimas, es que era una sensación tan espléndida, una energía de nostalgia y a la vez felicidad embargaba a todos los presentes, hoy sé que mis padres en esos actos recordaban su tierra natal y no podían evitar sentir esa nostalgia y llorar.

De mi obra digital de hoy, no es más que un tributo a mis memorias, a mi madre, a mi abuelo, esos seres que del campo, cosechaban sus propios frutos, cuidaban de animales y nos llenaron a todos de grandes valores. Además de ello, m encanta dibujar flores, siento que debo practicarlas mucho. Me gustó cómo quedaron estos tulipanes.

La postura de la referencia es casi extraña, la mujer está de espaldas y mira de lado, al dibujarla yo, quizá se veía algo desproporcionada o tal vez eran mis ojos. Encontré muchas dificultades en mi diseño, pero no me rendí, seguí adelante.

Lo curioso que cuando terminé de pintar el cabello, se me pareció mucho a una de las cantantes del grupo musical ABBA, espero sea de tu total agrado.

Lira is one of my surnames, both are of Portuguese origin, I was born in this blessed land - Venezuela - while 90% of my family is from Madeira - Portugal, with the second world war many emigrated to other countries. My father loved universal history, from him I acquired this desire to educate myself and read, from my mother, I acquired many skills and intelligence, from both I have many good things in my genes that allow me to adapt to all the terrains that I have traveled in my walk, I have been able to reinvent myself several times, until finally, now it is time to calm down and hope that so much struggle in life will bear fruit.


It is no secret to anyone, I am very, very proud of my origins, of my roots, because I know what it means to work hard, to overcome, to get up and to carry a family forward. I feel very proud to represent two different cultures, one European and the other Venezuelan, my parents taught us to love both and to participate in cultural events, recently celebrated the day of the Virgin of Fatima, this is the month in which all Portuguese are celebrating and celebrating, The Portuguese House of Aragua State and other smaller communities, invited their spectacular celebrations.


In the 80's and 90's - the golden age - I remember with great nostalgia my parents going to these celebrations that were open to the public, everyone could go and enjoy, since they were outdoors, with Portuguese musical groups, with traditional Portuguese music, traditional Lusitanian dances, one or another nationally recognized singer, they also did grape harvests and the popular fireworks at 12 midnight, My parents always ran with us by the hand, even when we were little, and told us, look at that, it's beautiful, and their eyes would blur, tears would fall, it was such a splendid feeling, an energy of nostalgia and at the same time happiness overwhelmed all those present, today I know that my parents in those acts remembered their homeland and could not help feeling that nostalgia and cry.


My digital work today is nothing more than a tribute to my memories, to my mother, to my grandfather, those beings who harvested their own fruits from the field, took care of animals and filled us all with great values. Besides that, I love to draw flowers, I feel that I must practice them a lot. I liked how these tulips turned out.


The posture of the reference is almost strange, the woman is on her back and looking sideways, when I drew her, maybe she looked a little disproportionate or maybe it was my eyes. I encountered many difficulties in my design, but I didn't give up, I kept going.


The funny thing is that when I finished painting the hair, it looked a lot like one of the singers of the musical group ABBA, I hope you like it.
