Greetings community!
It's been a long time since I shared black and white photographs, I want to encourage myself to do and publish new things, explore the world of photography since I have a good phone, I love monochrome photographs, I am a big fan, it is a content that I generally consume, I admire them and I feel that time stopped, that vintage atmosphere that immediately makes me travel back in time to what I like the most, everything retro.
Now that I live in a city, I find more spaces where I would like to capture moments, I have been practicing with photographs, trying to keep the horizon, to not shake my hands so much, to breathe deeply and keep calm while taking a picture, it is a long way that I have to learn a lot, I know that the ideal is a professional camera, but to start, I just want to share and learn, I am open to instructions, tips and everything in an empathetic way and that allows me to improve and grow.
For now this is a content that I plan to share more often and I hope you like it, they are the product of my walks to detox from work and detach from my computer, these photos were taken in Maracay, in the center of the city, in different areas, I love them because they are very curious buildings, beautiful places and that some can tell stories, especially of my personal life.

Hace mucho tiempo que no compartía fotografías en blanco y negro, quiero animarme hacer y publicar cosas nuevas, explorar el mundo de la fotografía ya que tengo un buen teléfono, amo las fotografías monocromáticas, soy muy fan, es un contenido que generalmente consumo, las admiro y siento ese tiempo detenido, ese ambiente vintage que inmediatamente me hace viajar en el tiempo a lo que más me gusta, todo lo retro.
Ahora que vivo en una ciudad, encuentro más espacios donde quisiera capturar momentos, he estado practicando con fotografías, tratando de mantener el horizonte, de no temblar tanto las manos, de respirar profundo y mantener la calma mientras tomo una fotografía, es un largo camino del que debo aprender mucho, sé que lo ideal es una cámara fotográfica profesional, pero para empezar, solo quiero compartir y aprender, estoy abierta a instrucciones, consejos y todo lo que sea de forma empática y que me permita mejorar y crecer.
Por ahora este es un contenido que pienso compartir más seguido y espero que les agrade, son producto de mis caminatas para desintoxicarme del trabajo y despegarme de mi computadora, estas fotos fueron tomadas en Maracay, en el centro de la ciudad, en diferentes zonas, me encantan porque son edificaciones muy curiosas, lugares hermosos y que algunos pueden contarnos historias, sobre todo de mi vida personal.

Plaza Bolivar in Maracay, Aragua State, is one of the largest squares in Venezuela, it has a lot of vegetation and from there we can see several icons of the city on the horizon as: The Sindoni Tower, The Opera Theater, The Basic School of the National Armed Forces, the Center of Maracay, The Civil Hospital, among others.

Plaza Bolívar de Maracay Estado Aragua, es uno de las plazas más grandes de Venezuela, tiene mucha vegetación y desde allí podemos ver varios íconos de la ciudad en el horizonte como: La Torre Sindoni, El Teatro de la Opera, La Escuela Básica de las Fuerzas Armadas Nacionales, el Centro de Maracay, El Hospital Civil, entre otros.

It is a rainy day, I loved walking in the rain with my umbrella, it was a nice drizzle, the weather stays nice.
This photo was taken in the Plaza Bolivar in Maracay, you can see the construction of the Escuela Básica de las Fuerzas Armadas Nacionales, a very old construction, we don't know the exact date, but maybe it exists since 1910 or 1920. It is located in the central area of the city, it covers an immense area of the city and has many green areas.

Es un día lluvioso, adoré caminar bajo la lluvia con mi paraguas, era una llovizna agradable, el clima se mantiene agradable.
Esta foto fue tomada en la Plaza Bolívar de Maracay, se divisa la construcción de la Escuela Básica de las Fuerzas Armadas Nacionales, una construcción de mucha antigüedad, no se sabe la fecha exactamente, pero quizá existe desde el año 1910 o 1920. Esta en pleno casco central de la ciudad, cubre un área inmensa de la misma y cuenta con muchas áreas verdes.

I found this captured moment very touching, in fact I cried because I remembered my graduations and those of my children, the place is the back of the Teatro de La Ópera de Maracay, apparently, it had been rented to celebrate a graduation ceremony for high school students. It is a truly beautiful construction that can also be seen from a corner of the Plaza Bolivar. Not even the drizzle can ruin these moments.
I camouflaged myself among the people, maybe they thought I was taking pictures because I had a family member at the graduation.

Este momento capturado me pareció muy conmovedor, de hecho lloré porque recordé mis graduaciones y las de mis hijos, el lugar es la parte trasera del Teatro de La Ópera de Maracay, al parecer, lo habían alquilado para celebrar un acto de graduación de alumnos de secundaria. Es una construcción verdaderamente hermosa que también se visualiza desde una esquina de la Plaza Bolívar. Ni la llovizna puede arruinar estos momentos.
Me camuflé entre las personas, quizá pensaban que tomaba fotos porque tenía a algún familiar en la graduación.

In the background we can see part of what is the construction of the Civil Hospital, a very old construction that still works. One of the things I love about this square is the vegetation, the clean, colonial style and the great amount of Chaguaramos trees (royal palm), as well as animals such as iguanas, squirrels and a variety of birds. To the left you can see part of the construction of the Governor's Office of Aragua State. All of them are state institutions.

Al fondo podemos ver parte de lo que es la construcción del Hospital Civil, una construcción muy antigua que aun funciona. Una de las cosas que amo de esta plaza es la vegetación, lo limpia, que mantiene un estilo colonial y la gran cantidad de Árboles Chaguaramos (palma real) que tiene, también animales como iguanas, ardillas y variedad de aves. A la izquierda se visualiza parte de lo que es la construcción de la Gobernación del Estado Aragua. Todas son instituciones del Estado.

Right in front of the Maracay Opera House, there is another very old building, this building was recovered and now converted into a mini mall, it has been beautiful, when I left Aragua State 12 years ago, this structure was falling apart.

Justo frente al teatro de la Opera de Maracay, se encuentra otra construcción muy antigua, este edificio fue recuperado y ahora convertido en un mini centro Comercial, ha quedado precioso, cuando partí hace 12 años del Estado Aragua, esta estructura se caía a pedazos.

Torre Future, Está ubicado en la Urbanización Calicanto, ahora solo tomé capturas de edificaciones y cosas que me llamaban la atención, este edificio es muy alto, fue muy difícil hacer las tomas fotográficas, si tomaba la foto a lo lejos el cableado de luz que pasa por en frente afearía aun más la toma. Es un edificio cuya forma parece desafiar la gravedad, pues es cóncavo.

Torre Future, is located in the Calicanto Urbanization, now I only took pictures of buildings and things that caught my attention, this building is very high, it was very difficult to make the photographic shots, if I took the picture from afar the light wiring that passes in front would disfigure the shot even more. It is a building whose shape seems to defy gravity, as it is concave.

I was very curious about this construction, it is a relatively new building diagonal to El Ejército Park, people going about their normal lives, I am a big fan of the Royal Palm, and I stopped to look at the small trees, it will be many years before they reach those enormous heights like the ones in the previous photos.
While we appreciate the work of art built by the hand of man, I also appreciate the work of art created by nature. I imagine that construction a couple of years later, with those real palms very, very tall, simply beautiful.

Se me hacía muy curiosa esta construcción, es un edificio relativamente nuevo diagonal al Parque El Ejército, las personas haciendo su vida normal, soy muy fan de la Palma Real, y me detenía a ver los pequeños árboles, pasarán muchos años para que alcancen esas enormes alturas como los de las anteriores fotos.
Mientras apreciamos la obra de arte construida por la mano del hombre, también aprecio la obra de arte creada por la naturaleza. Imagino esa construcción un par de años después, con esas palmas reales muy pero muy altas, sencillamente hermoso.

In the central area of Maracay we can appreciate art in several areas of vehicular and pedestrian traffic, this statue is located near the Maracay Medical Center, near Las Delicias Avenue. It is somewhat old, I remember when they placed it along with other artistic pieces, I was very young, however, it no longer has the specifications of its creator or the exact year, they are just there, many people can pass them indifferent a thousand times, accustomed that it is just there, I always stop to admire them all, they are made with cement and its size is very large. The figure from my perception are two people doing wrestling, however, I am not sure what it really is from the point of view of the artist creator. It will have its story to tell, time does not forgive, neither does the weather, but it remains strong.

En el casco central de Maracay podemos apreciar arte en varias zonas de tránsito vehicular y peatonal, esta estatua se encuentra en las cercanías de la Centro Médico Maracay, cerca de la Avenida Las Delicias. Es algo antigua, recuerdo cuando la colocaron junto con otras piezas artísticas, era muy niña, sin embargo, ya no tiene las especificaciones de su creador ni el año exacto, solo están allí, mucha gente puede pasarles indiferentes mil veces, acostumbrados que solo esté allí, yo siempre me detengo a admirarlas todas, son hechas con cemento y su tamaño es muy grande. La figura desde mi percepción son dos personas haciendo lucha libre, sin embargo, no tengo certeza de lo que realmente es desde el punto del artista creador. Tendrá su historia qué contar, el tiempo no perdona, el clima tampoco, pero se mantiene fuerte.

Hermosas fotografías cariño, la verdad es que el blanco y negro resalta mucho lo que vemos, ver los diferentes colores es hermoso pero también es ver de esta forma es ver una cara diferente a las cosas.

Así es mi corazón, siempre he sido fan, es un contenido que normalmente consumo en silencio, jajaj rara vez dejo mensajes pero ahora lo comienzo hacer, es que son espectaculares.
