Miss mushroom / Señorita hongo (DTIYS) (ENG/ESP)
Greetings my beloved ones, here wearing out the new pencil tip participating in these cute little things.
When I saw the design I didn't really like the color palette, then I realized that it was the background color that I didn't like because it is very dark, even so I respected the color palette of the person in charge of the challenge. I think I like more pastel colors. But as you know I don't miss the opportunity to participate in challenges where the characters have glasses.
As a gamer, as soon as I saw the mushroom on his head I just thought of Super Mario Bros in fact it was the inspiration for my mushroom, I thought to recreate the style but it didn't look good for a drawing with semi realistic airs.
The painting technique with wax crayon effect is still being polished and I still like it, it is something that is very trendy, it is a brush from the Procreate program, as I use Medibang I have to come up with something similar to it.
I have had a very busy and busy morning because I am in legal proceedings, however I thank God that I have been able to finish this design and that it was so beautiful.

Cuando vi el diseño no me gustó mucho la paleta de colores, luego me di cuenta que es el color de fondo lo que no me agradaba pues es muy oscuro, aun así respeté la paleta de colores de quien lleva el reto. Creo que me gustan más los colores pasteles. Pero como ustedes saben no pierdo la oportunidad de participar en retos donde los personajes tengan lentes.
Como gamer, en cuanto vi el hongo sobre su cabeza solo pensé en Super Mario Bros de hecho fue la inspiración de mi hongo, pensaba recrear el estilo pero no lucía bien para un dibujo con aires semi realistas.
La técnica de pintura con efecto creyones de cera la sigo puliendo y me sigue gustando, es algo que está muy en tendencia, es un pincel de programa Procreate, como uso Medibang debo ingeniármelas con algo que se le parezca.
He tenido una mañana muy movida y ocupada pues ando en trámites legales sin embargo doy gracias a Dios haber podido concluir este diseño y que de paso me quedara tan bonito.

As I had those difficulties with the background that I didn't like, I still think it's the part of the design that I didn't achieve.
In addition to this, I didn't want to draw the same flower of the challenge, in this case, I continued recreating the same flower that I've been drawing for a while, because this way my style is much more marked.

Jess Miller es una ilustradora y diseñadora gráfica que vive en los Ángeles, actualmente tiene 69K de seguidores en la red social Instagram, lanza el reto de La Chica Hongo para celebrar sus 65K de seguidores - para ese momento - ahora ha ganado más, siempre estos retos atraen nuevos seguidores y yo soy una de ellos, me convertí en una seguidora más pues al ver sus demás proyectos me gustaron mucho, generalmente usa colores llamativos, vivos pero armónicos, mantiene la estética y estilo en todos sus diseños, es super creativa e incluso participa en otros retos de dibujo de otros diseñadores y dibujantes. Siempre está aportando buenas ideas y nos enseña mucho el estilo de letra con mucha decoración, esto para usarlo en múltiples cosas como por ejemplo cuadernos, carpetas, posters, prendas de vestir, entre otros.
Al principio en mi boceto había dibujado el cabello con movimiento pero luego lo cambié pues pensé que se vería mejor un cabello indio, lacio y plano, luce genial de verdad me gustó mucho.
Como tuve esas dificultades con el fondo que no me agradaba sigo pensando que es la parte no lograda del diseño.
Adicional a esto, no quise dibujar la misma flor del reto, en este caso, continué recreando la misma flor que he estado dibujando desde hace un tiempo, pues así se marca mucho más mi estilo

The next step corresponds to the color casting on the sketch, I saw a little difficulty of how to achieve the stripes on the shirt without looking flat. I do this process by folders in different canvases for each color.
Esta práctica es excelente para mejorar las poses, me costó algo lograr la posición de las manos en cuanto a la flor, pues no quería que se viera como el diseño del reto, están algo extrañas a mi parecer.
El siguiente paso corresponde al vaciado de color sobre el boceto, vi un poco de dificultad de cómo lograr las rayas en la camisa sin que se viera plano. Este proceso lo hago por carpetas en lienzos distintos para cada color.
I continued with the recreation of the background in its base color, then applied the skin shading.
In the next step I worked on the hair, I used rough pencil for the effect and spraying.
When I get excited I forget to save the steps and skipped several steps because then I worked on the eyes and glasses and jumped to the application of shading and light on the mushroom, for this I used the airbrush brush.
Continué con la recreación del fondo en su color base, para luego aplicar el sombreado de piel.
En el paso siguiente trabajé el cabello, usé lápiz áspero para el efecto y pulverización.
Cuando me emociono olvido ir guardando los pasos y salte varios pues luego trabajé en los ojos y los lentes y salté a la aplicación de sombreado y luz en el hongo, para ello usé el pincel aerógrafo.
Of the last steps almost nothing remains, almost imperceptible details, but yes, I worked the foliage and applied lights like candy drops and finally I drew the pink flowers.
This was a great practice that I enjoyed a lot, as always.

De los últimos pasos casi no queda nada, detalles casi que que imperceptibles, pero si, trabajé el follaje y apliqué luces como gotas de caramelo y para finalizar le dibujé las flores rositas.
