Greetings my beloved ones, today I want to tell many things behind everything that involved the launch of Hive DIY as a witness. All the human, physical, mental, spiritual and economic effort. Maybe this is a very emotional post.
A look to the past...
Since my beginnings in the web3 and I investigated about the witnesses, their function and the cryptocurrency mining system my curiosity was very big and I began to project myself, in those years everything looked very distant, difficult, maybe even impossible, but that did not prevent me to continue my work as an ant, constant, firm, determined and today, today I am deeply moved, because in spite of so many barriers, so many obstacles, people who were NO, there were angels in my way, who always motivated me and believed in me and said yes, that I BELIEVE IN YOU, it reinforced my values and principles, my goals, my objectives and I arrived in spite of that it is a debt that I have with this blessing that HIVE represents.
Why? Because since I was able to work for communities, in return for their support and have bread on my table, I felt blessed and very grateful and I began to see this not only as a great investment but as a human support system, where we can not only support each other economically but morally, spiritually and we get to understand each other in such a way that in the good and in the bad, we are all brothers, a big family.
Could Equipodelta Witness be possible one day? Yes, anything is possible.
In my beginnings I was nicknamed Droopy, because I was everywhere, I had a lot of energy, wherever I could help I wanted to be there, I knew that all that would help me grow and I would learn a lot, thanks to the trust that those community leaders placed in those times, I could learn to heal content, I am not competition, nor do I pretend to be anyone's competition, never, I want and it was always my desire to be hand in hand being useful to the service of others, I know that the universe blesses me and the bread on my table will not be lacking. After thinking that choosing Equipodelta as a brand was a mistake, thanks to many people who made me see that it was the right choice.

Saludos amados míos, hoy quiero contar muchas cosas detrás de todo lo que implicó el lanzamiento de Hive DIY como witness. Todo el esfuerzo humano, físico, mental, espiritual y económico. Tal vez sea un post muy emotivo.
Una mirada al pasado…
Desde mis inicios en la web3 e investigué sobre los testigos, su función y el sistema de minado de la criptomoneda mi curiosidad fue muy grande y comencé a proyectarme, en aquellos años todo se veía muy lejano, difícil, quizá hasta imposible, peor eso no me impedía seguir mi trabajo de hormiguita, constante, firme, decidida y hoy, hoy me encuentro profundamente conmovida, porque a pesar de tantas barreras, tantos obstáculos, personas que eran NO, hubo ángeles ne mi camino, que siempre me motivaron y creyeron en mí y me decían sí, ese YO CREO EN TI, me reforzaba mis valore s y principios, mis metas, mis objetivos y llegue a pesar que es una deuda que tengo para con esta bendición que representa HIVE.
¿Por qué? Por que desde que pude trabajar para comunidades, en retribución de su apoyo y tener el pan en mi mesa, yo me sentí bendecida y con mucha gratitud y comencé a ver esto no solo como una gran inversión sino como un sistema de apoyo humano, donde no solo podemos apoyarnos económicamente sino moralmente, espiritualmente y llegamos a compenetrarnos de tal manera que en lo bueno y en lo mano, todos somos hermanos, una gran familia.
¿Llegar tan lejos? ¿Sería posible un día Equipodelta
Witness? Si, todo puede ser posible.
En mis inicios me apodaban Droopy, porque estaba en todos lados, tenía mucha energía, en donde podía ayudar allí quería estar, sabía que todo aquello me ayudaría a crecer y aprendería mucho, gracias a esa confianza que depositaron esos líderes de comunidades en aquellos tiempos, pude aprender a curar contendido, administrar comunidades, ser el siguiente eslabón que hala, ayuda y apoya a los demás, no soy competencia, ni pretendo ser competencia de nadie, jamás, yo quiero y siempre fue mi deseo estar mano a mano siendo útil al servicio de los demás, sé que el universo me bendice y el pan en mi mesa no me faltará. Después de pensar que elegir Equipodelta como marca fue un error, gracias a muchas personas que me hicieron ver que fue muy acertada esa elección.

What has it cost me to get here?
All of us who come from the old chain, we are veterans, I have always stressed the importance of respecting the trajectory, artistic and user because they are the ones who have remained even in difficult times, they have always been there. It has cost me a lot, time, years, sacrifice and losing so many things that I am still trying to overcome.
It was not because of Hive is true, but my dedication to this was complete, brutal, my family often demanded my attention, I spent many hours on the computer, I sacrificed time with my family but we also needed to eat and based on my need I thought that someone else could be like me, so my work as a curator I took it very seriously, not only to help and contribute my grain of sand but to defend my house (Hive) from abuse.
Today, that I lost everything and I start from scratch with a clearer mind, I see my destiny with more clarity, although I cry for what I left behind, that made me grow and thanks to that I am here today so, whether it was bad or good what I lived I honor it because it was what gave me strength where many times I did not have to continue.
As humans, many times I fell, many times I was wrong, even from that I learned, I made enemies, I reconciled, today, I feel very peaceful, because I feel the respect of the whole community. I have always been a very serious and hardworking person, even when my health has not been optimal in recent times, I have not hung up my arms.
The perks of being a leader are that you have little people behind you who always expect you to be a lighthouse, to be a light, that in spite of everything you set an example of strength and even in my humanity, when I have fallen deep, words of love and comfort have never failed me.
I owe Hive so much because it changed my life in every aspect, I can't imagine my life without it, I was lost, I exploited abilities I thought I didn't have, I lost the fear to show myself, to show my mistakes, my successes, my failures and my successes, and it was the door that opened a world full of possibilities.
I want to continue working for and for this, if I am allowed to and if God allows me to.
What about now?
Now that I've reached a goal, I'm doing what every person should do, I was already thinking about new projects and expanding my horizons, but I'll leave that as a surprise, I can only say that Hive DIY will be the reference for every content creator, artisan, craftsman, artists, inside and outside of it. To do this, I am forming a team that has specific tasks so that we do not exhaust forces and work in unison.
It's just the beginning, bigger things are waiting for us, more commitments, we have a lot to do and for that, for that we need each of you, Equipodelta is facts not words and as we move forward you will appreciate it.
Does Hive DIY only support DIY content, crafts and art? YES, but remember that I am behind it, so I work in general for everyone, all kinds of content and in all languages, as I am a polyglot, technical English, advanced Portuguese, basic Italian, I was learning Russian for a few years, all of them in writing, I have many insecurities.

¿Qué me ha costado llegar hasta aquí?
Todos los que venimos de la antigua cadena, somos veteranos, siempre he recalcado la importancia de respetar la trayectoria, artística y usuario porque ellos son los que se han mantenido aun en los tiempos difíciles, siempre han estado. Me ha costado mucho, tiempo, años, sacrificio y perder tantas cosas que aun trato de superar.
No fue por Hive es verdad, pero mi entrega hacia esto fue completa, brutal, mi familia muchas veces me reclamaba atención, yo pasaba muchas horas en el ordenador, sacrifiqué tiempo con mi familia pero también necesitábamos comer y en base a mi necesidad pensaba en que alguien más pudiera estar como yo, por lo cual mi trabajo como curador me lo tomaba muy en serio, no solo por ayudar y aportar mi grano de arena sino para defender mi casa (Hive) de los abusos.
Hoy día, que perdí todo y comienzo de cero con la mente más clara, veo mi destino con mas claridad, aunque lloro por aquello que dejé atrás, eso me hizo crecer y gracias a eso hoy estoy aquí por lo cual, así fuera malo o bueno lo que viví lo honro porque fue lo que me daba fuerzas donde muchas veces no tenía para continuar.
Como humanos, muchas veces caí, muchas veces me equivoqué, hasta de eso aprendí, me enemisté me reconcilié, hoy, siento mucha paz, porque siento el respeto de toda la comunidad. Siempre he sido una persona muy seria y trabajadora, aun cuando mi salud no ha sido óptima en estos últimos tiempos, no me he colgado de brazos.
Los gajes de cuando se es líder son, que tienes personitas detrás de ti de las cuales, esperan siempre que seas faro, que seas luz, que a pesar de todo des el ejemplo de fortaleza y aun en mi humanidad, cuando he caído hondo, las palabras de amor y consuelo nunca me faltaron.
A Hive le debo tanto porque cambió mi vida en todo aspecto, no puedo imaginar mi vida sin esto, estuve perdida, exploté habilidades que creí no tener, perdí el miedo a mostrarme, a mostrar mis errores, mis aciertos, mis fracasos y mis éxitos, y fue la puerta que abrió un mundo lleno de posibilidades.
Yo quiero seguir trabajando por y para esto, si me lo permiten y si Dios me lo permite.
¿Y ahora qué?
Ahora que llegué a cumplir una meta pues se hace lo que toda persona debe hacer, trazarse más, mientras me sentía más cerca de ella, ya estaba pensando en nuevos proyectos y expandir mis horizontes, pero eso lo dejo como sorpresa, solo puedo decir que Hive DIY será la referencia de cada creador de contenido, artesano, manualidades, artistas, dentro y fuera de ella. Para ello, estoy formando un equipo de trabajo que tiene labores específicas de modo que no agotemos fuerzas y trabajemos al unísono.
Es tan solo el comienzo, nos esperan cosas más grandes, más compromisos, tenemos mucho que hacer y para ello, para ello necesitamos de cada uno de ustedes, Equipodelta es hechos no palabras y en la medida que vamos avanzando lo irán apreciando.
¿Hive DIY solo apoya contenido DIY, manualidades y arte? SI, pero recuerden que yo estoy detrás de ella, por lo cual trabajo en forma general para todos, todo tipo de contenido y en todos los idiomas, ya que soy políglota, inglés técnico, portugués avanzado, italiano básico, estuve aprendiendo ruso por unos años, todos ellos por escrito, tengo muchas inseguridades.

Why did I choose to have Hive DIY as a witness and not Equipodelta?
Because as a community I can focus more on one point and I feel that working in an organized way will make it more successful and impactful, as well as garner support.
A few months ago.
I started to prepare myself, I researched well what was needed to launch the witness, but I received confusing information that practically made me lose money.
I had been told that I had to have a computer with specific features, so I bought a low end used one and repowered it, I paid for the service in Privex and through some tutorials I started to program.
From my knowledge in programming and computing I was asking myself the question, I am setting up the server in a cloud practically no computer is needed, unless I decide to convert that computer into a server, I was even about to buy a battery that would last me 5 hours because electric power here is a problem.
You can do it, but it's more complicated, which is why the Privex service that comes with a pre-installed Hive database, you only have to configure a few things and, those "few things" swallowed me up for weeks.
I knocked on several doors, even the people I was following the tutorials for were not very nice with the answers, making me see that "this is something difficult" "you can't do it" I was getting discouraged already, because even following the tutorials I was getting errors.
I knocked on other doors and they left me blank, but there were lights on the way, because I received guidance from @ritch and words of encouragement because I was giving up, then @enrique89 clarified other terms, however, the server did not run, two weeks passed so for me it was an eternity, I got so stressed that I got sick, my defenses were lowered, the flu attacked me.
I kept knocking on doors, I got to @yonathang who put me in contact with the guy who runs his witness Hispapro @alberto0607 but I had already given up, I thought I had a few days left of Privex service and I had no way to pay for the service again. @yonathang told me that soon they were going to release a tutorial and I waited, I leave them here, it is very good and more complete there I could see that there was a lot of information missing in those tutorials on how to be witness, this tutorial is more organized and has the missing commands, it is more understandable.
Now I was under the guidance of @alberto0607 and I can say that he was very patient with me, we discovered the problems I had on my server, it was reset and updated and after emptying the info, we still had to wait a few days for it to sync.
4 or 5 days later after I almost went bald (hahahahah! I exaggerate) the node synced and after several attempts and receiving the first vote Hive Diy appeared on the Witness list, my excitement was so great that I think I left @alberto0607 deaf, it means a lot to me obviously and here I am moved and even crying feeling good, how many obstacles and I could overcome it, thanks to @alberto and all the people I named.
I thank you who have been joining and supporting as Witness to Hive DIY, every time I see a vote I feel that everything I went through was worth it, I still believe in this and I will continue working for this.
I don't want to say goodbye without infinitely thanking every community that supports the content creators that make life in Hive DIY, but I want to thank very specially @eddiespino Witness from @aliento for supporting Hive DIY just when I needed it the most.

¿Por qué elegí que Hive DIY fuera testigo y no Equipodelta?
Porque como comunidad puedo enfocarme más en un punto y considero que trabajar de manera organizada hará que tenga mayor éxito e impacto, así como conseguir apoyo.
Unos meses atrás.
Comencé a prepararme, investigaba bien lo que se necesitaba para lanzar el witness, pero recibí informaciones confusas que prácticamente me hicieron perder dinero. Pues me habían dicho que debía tener un ordenador con características específicas, por lo cual compré una usada de baja gama y la repotencié, pagué el servicio en Privex y a través de algunos tutoriales comencé a programar.
Desde mis conocimientos en programación e informática me hacía la pregunta, estoy montando el servidor en una nube prácticamente no es necesario un ordenador, a menos que decida convertir ese ordenador en un servidor, yo estaba hasta por comprar una batería que me durara 5 horas porque la energía eléctrica aquí es un problema.
Puedes hacerlo, pero es más complicado, por lo cual el servicio de Privex que ya viene con una base de datos pre instalada de Hive, solo vas a configurar unas cuantas cosas y, esas “cuantas cosas” me tragaron por semanas.
Toqué varias puertas, hasta las personas por los cuales seguía los tutoriales los cuales no fueron muy agradables con las respuestas, haciendo ver que “esto es algo difícil” “no puedes hacerlo” yo me estaba desanimando ya, porque aun siguiendo los tutoriales me daba error.
Toqué otras puertas y me dejaron en visto, pero hubo luces en el camino, porque recibí orientaciones de @ritch y palabras de aliento porque me estabas rindiendo, luego @enrique89 me aclaró otros términos, sin embargo, el servidor no corría, pasaron dos semanas así que para mí fue una eternidad, me estresé tanto que enfermé, se bajaron mis defensas, la gripe me atacó.
Seguí tocando puertas, llegué a @yonnathang quien me puso en contacto con quien lleva su witness Hispapro @alberto0607 pero ya me había rendido, pensé que me quedaba pocos días de servicio de Privex y no tenía cómo costear nuevamente el servicio. @Yonnathang me indica que pronto iban alanzar una publicación de tutorial y esperé, los dejo aquí, es muy bueno y más completo allí pude ver que faltaba mucha información en esos tutoriales de cómo ser witness, este tutorial es más organizado y tiene los comandos faltantes, es más comprensible.
Ahora estuve bajo la guía de @alberto0607 y puedo decir que tuvo mucha paciencia conmigo, descubrimos los problemas que tenía en mi servidor, fue reseteado y actualizado y después de vaciar la info, aun teníamos que esperar algunos días para que sincronizara.
4 o 5 días después luego que casi quedo calva (¡Jajajaj! Exagero) el nodo sincroniza y después de varios intentos y recibir el primer voto apareció Hive Diy en la lista de Witness, mi emoción fue tan grande que creo que dejé sordo a @alberto, significa mucho para mí obviamente y heme aquí conmovida y aun llorando sintiéndome bien, cuantos obstáculos y pude superarlo, gracias a @alberto0607 y todas las personas que nombre.
Os agradezco quienes se han ido uniendo y apoyando como Witness a Hive DIY, cada vez que veo un voto siento que todo aquello por lo que pasé valió la pena, sigo creyendo en esto y seguiré trabajando por esto.
No quiero despedirme sin agradecer infinitamente a cada comunidad que apoya a los creadores de contenido que hacen vida en Hive DIY, pero quiero agradecer muy especialmente a @eddiespino Witness de @aliento por apoyar Hive DIY justo cuando más lo necesitaba.
