Documentando proceso artístico de mi última obra artística + Fotografía artística

Hello everyone, hope everything is going great :), here Enletrada (Ari). In today's post I wanted to share with you the process of my last painting (this is my first painting using a bigger canva) I did for a musical work project with a friend who's musician, artist and producer and I admire sm (@yakari_arte on Instagram).

This time I was in charge of the video and photo and video production, creative direction and art. But I'll leave this to another post and today I'll focus my article to document the artwork for Bon Café's video.

En el post de hoy quería compartir con vosotros el proceso de mi último cuadro (este es mi primer cuadro usando un canva más grande) que hice para un proyecto de trabajo musical con un amigo músico, artista y productor al que admiro sm (@yakari_arte en Instagram).

Esta vez me encargué de la producción de video y foto y video, dirección creativa y arte. Pero esto lo dejaré para otro post y hoy centraré mi artículo en documentar el arte del vídeo de Bon Café.

Sketching and planning - Letting creaitivy flows - Boceto y planeado

First of all I made a brainstorm, I always use my intuition but sometimes we as an artists need to order our ideas and make a clear mental image of our masterpiece. So the way I do this is start choosing mentally what I want to transmit with my artwork, which feelings, sensations and messages i want to evoke and express.

En primer lugar hice una lluvia de ideas, siempre uso mi intuición pero a veces como artistas necesitamos ordenar nuestras ideas y hacer una imagen mental clara de nuestra obra maestra. Así que la forma en que lo hago es empezar a elegir mentalmente lo que quiero transmitir con mi obra de arte, qué sentimientos, sensaciones y mensajes quiero evocar y expresar.

Then I start looking for images that match with my idea and I do a kind of moodborad and color palette (colors can change but It's just an approximation). This time I made it on Pinterest.
After that I picked all the colors I chose making a warm color palette for the esthetic of my painting.

Luego empiezo a buscar imágenes que encajen con mi idea y hago una especie de moodborad y paleta de colores (los colores pueden cambiar pero es solo una aproximación). Esta vez lo hice en Pinterest.
Después de eso elegí todos los colores que elegí haciendo una paleta cálida para la estética de mi pintura.

Here I show you my first sketch (I made it three times to practice and make it decent lol)

Aquí les muestro mi primer boceto (lo hice tres veces para practicar y que quedara decente lol)

Then I picked my canva and I starting drawing (at the same time I was filming). Luego elegí mi lienzo y comencé a dibujar.

I started doing the sketch, the girl's body and I wanted to paint her like a black woman and transmit a femenine energy because the song was dedicated to a brown skin girl and these coffee palette colors. To be honest I dont have a clear photo of the sketch so I'll share with you the digital sketch of the illustrated version (oops spoiler.)

Empecé a hacer el boceto, el cuerpo de la chica y quería pintarla como una mujer negra y transmitir una energía femenina ya que la canción estaba dedicada a una chica de piel morena y estos colores de paleta café. Para ser sincero no tengo una foto clara del boceto asi que compartire con vosotros el boceto digital de la version ilustrada (oops spoiler.)

Starting painting - Comenzando a pintar

Secondly I started painting her body adding the first layer of acrylic painting with a medium brown tone. And then, I keep painting with little brush strokes (like impressionists used to do) trying to give it volume, shades and light with a darker brown tone and a nute light color. I didn't want to focus my final result in a realistic or hiperrealistic body so I just did a simple body shape almost with a minimalist style.

I left a blank space to add some cuts of paper, in this case old magazines instead of add more paint.

Once I had the body and hair done I start putting little drops of paint to make tridimensional flowers full of texture hanging from her hair to give it a spring vibe.

En segundo lugar empecé a pintar su cuerpo añadiendo la primera capa de pintura acrílica con un tono marrón medio. Y después, seguí pintando con pequeñas pinceladas (como hacían los impresionistas) intentando darle volumen, matices y luz con un tono marrón más oscuro y un color nude claro. No quise enfocar mi resultado final en un cuerpo realista o hiperrealista así que simplemente hice una forma de cuerpo simple casi con un estilo minimalista.

Dejé un espacio en blanco para añadir algunos recortes de papel, en este caso revistas viejas en vez de añadir más pintura.

Una vez tuve el cuerpo y el pelo hechos empecé a poner pequeñas gotas de pintura para hacer flores tridimensionales llenas de textura que colgaban de su pelo para darle un aire primaveral.

Then I starting doing brush strokes with a thick brush to paint the background. Here I share with you these closed up photo because I loved the blurred font and the flowers behind the canva.

I used different tones of pink, violet and aquamarine. And to finish I added the old magazine paper cuts.

Luego empecé a dar pinceladas con un pincel grueso para pintar el fondo. Aquí comparto con vosotros esta foto cerrada porque me encantó la fuente difuminada y las flores detrás del canva.

Utilicé diferentes tonos de rosa, violeta y aguamarina. Y para terminar añadí los recortes de papel de revista antigua.

Final result and photographic composition - Resultado final y composición fotográfica

To decorate my artwork and show you the final result, I decided to prepare a composition with these flowers once I'd finished the video. This was the result, and I ilustrated the phrase on Ibis Paint X and edited on Lightroom. I took all my photos with a Canon Eos T6.

Para decorar mi obra y mostraros el resultado final, decidí preparar una composición con estas flores una vez terminado el vídeo. Este fue el resultado, e ilustré la frase en Ibis Paint X y edité en Lightroom. Todas las fotos las hice con una Canon Eos T6.

"Poetic introspection" - "Introspección poética"

I wanted with this painting to evoke the femenine energy (not in a stereotypical way) with flowers, soft tones and little brush strokes. I use these color palette to combine my outfit, with the set and the artwork.

The intention and message of it is to express what is inside of a woman who has a lot to say, full of magical words that if she turned it into art or express it outside, that ideas and potential will bloom like the flowers which decorate her hair.

Con este cuadro quería evocar la energía femenina (no de forma estereotipada) con flores, tonos suaves y pequeñas pinceladas. Utilizo esta paleta de colores para combinar mi atuendo, con el decorado y la obra de arte.

La intención y el mensaje de la misma es expresar lo que hay dentro de una mujer que tiene mucho que decir, llena de palabras mágicas que si las convirtiera en arte o las expresara fuera, esas ideas y potencial florecerían como las flores que decoran su pelo.
