Unique silver rounds on discount

avatar

Precious metals prices went down recently. I figured it was a decent time to pick up some more silver. As usual, I tried to find some unique rounds to add to my collection alongside standard bars.

I ended up with two rounds from the Seven Wonders of the World Series and one from Assassin's Creed. The Seven Wonders is an ongoing collection because the seven pieces aren't all in circulation yet. I do know that I missed the Hanging Gardens of Babylon. I hope to see if the Hanging Gardens will resurface again. I got the Assassin's Creed one for nostalgic reasons. I haven't played that series since Assassin's Creed III.

Of course, in my haste, I forgot to grab this vial of silver nuggets on APMEX. I'll have to wait for next time. The vial reminded me of those decorative vials of sand you'd see people take as souvenirs. They are listed under Industrial Silver on APMEX, and they come in multiple sizes.

Aside from the souvenir look, I can see myself using them in a friendly game of poker between friends. Anyways, I'll try to remember to grab a vial or so the next time I buy precious metals.

Nice pick ups. The silver shot in the vial is cool, I’ve had a couple of those. They are cool gifts.

Those are cool I'm the same way I like to get something new but mostly stick to the deals in bars and bulk cheap ozers

I try to get the new stuff when their prices are closer to the normal bars.

Nice. Definitely a good time to pick up silver. I wonder since the nuggets are listed under the industrial section are they recycled silver or natural nuggets?

According to the website:

I guess it's .999 fine silver dressed up as a relic from the past.

Great pickups, especially the Assassin's Creed. I loved the story lines of the game.

It took me a while to get into the series back in college.

I didn't even realize that they made coins based on Assassin's Creed. Then again, their PR nightmare about support for games wasn't that great so Ubisoft is getting a ton of heat.

These are licensed products. I assume APMEX or whatever mint just bought the rights to produce these.

I've been considering silver a lot lately, but I just don't want to store tons of it somewhere and have to worry about it. I also don't see it getting me the gains I like with my money, but the price is significantly lower than normal right now. Tempting.

Nice selection pick up. They look quite shinny

The non-hand poured stuff are usually shinier.
