A few days ago, I went to Whole Foods. It’s been a while. I had forgotten why I was boycotting. Then, I got to the checkout, noticed the bio-pay and remembered why.
Will the time come when this isn't voluntary? Will we need it to board a plane? File our taxes? Claim SS benefits? Apply for a driving license.... (etc.) All for 'security'?

That does seem a bit weird, but then again I use Google Pay and I don't seem to have an issue with it. How much different is that from this I guess.
That they have your biometrics data?
I login to my Google Pay with my thumbprint. It's probably stored on the phone though.

Biometric feature secured the application from unauthorized personnel. Amazon provide advance secure system doe their user.
Nothing is foolproof.
