Sunday in a magical place

Getting out of the house and enjoying nature is always a great weekend plan. I had been planning for several weeks to go to an ornamental and recreational nursery, at first I thought I would go with my pet, since we both had a long time without doing what we like the most, exploring and getting into nature, so it was time to make contact with earth and recharge new energies. However, in the end my partner and my sister joined us; we were very happy to have company.

Any picnic is perfect when there is food in between, so our selected food for that day was saltine crackers, accompanied by tuna scrambled with mayonnaise and to counteract the amount of cholesterol we also included a hibiscus flower tea and fruits between apples and tangerines. Additionally, to this, my sister was keen to drink a wine, which I thought was very movie style, so I agreed to bring a red wine from the alcohol bottle rack.

We left home at 8 am, the weather was still cloudy, so it took us about 45 minutes to get to our destination. Being our first visit, we made use of Google Maps. The ecological garden called "Green Garden" is located in Latacunga, Belisario Quevedo. From my experience, the place has the best climate in the city, because it reduces the intensity of cold and wind, this because it is at the foot of Putzalahua hill. The entrance fee was $2 dollars, however, they gave us the option of consuming products from their store such as candy and beer, in exchange the entrance fee would be free. The best option was to consume, I knew my companions were eager to drink beer.

In the first instance, you could notice the beauty of the garden; each space created shows originality and the dedication of the owners to maintain a really beautiful place, which made me feel very happy that I had chosen to go to the garden. We were the first to arrive, which gave us the freedom to choose the spaces to go through without any pressure. Before starting the tour, we decided to eat at a wooden table located a few meters from the main entrance.

During the first few hours it was drizzling, which was not at all an impediment to enjoy the occasion. Being a well kept place, full of a feast of flowers, colorful pink orchids, path designs, decorative figures and a pool of fish, Koi was impossible not to take pictures and look along with the scenery. One of the highlights of this visit is that my pet was so happy that he went for a swim in the fish pool, a moment of great adrenaline for all of us, since we had to get him out as quickly as possible, before we had problems with the owners of the place.

Another reason for this trip was to recharge the energies of my quartz crystals in the most practical way, which is to bury them underground. After several hours had passed, I did a photo session with the quartz crystals.

The return home was at 1 pm and what I can say is that everything was magical to my eyes, appreciating nature through different forms is certainly vibrant for the heart, I left with the intention of returning at some point and perhaps opt for other services offered by the garden such as enjoying outdoor cooking, movie night and camping. This has been my experience in the place, and for all the above mentioned it is recommended for any visitor who appreciates this kind of rest and relaxation.
