Winning over Anxiety

This is my own strategy on how I win over anxiety, by definition, I will say that anxiety is an emotional feeling that naturally plays out when you are in the mist of unknown expectation, it can prompted normally by stress and in most case can lead to some level of disorder that is capable of interfering with the physical and mental behavior of an individual on a daily basis. I will be very practical on this subject, because it has been an experience that I found myself frequently.


this was one of the days i almost lost my mind, i was so much afraid of the unknown yet to play out, my younger sibling took the picture to remind me of the day.

Renew your thought patterns”

This will be an intentional act, you will do it deliberately, often times anxiety comes when we are faced with situations that introduce some thought patterns on the negative, especially when it comes to some that seems difficult and maybe we have failed before, that fear of what next will happen, you will have to start renewing your thought pattern, stop thinking the old way, feed your mind with positivity, keep meditating on the new thought pattern until it becomes fully part of you. Boldness and sound mind manifest when there is availability of new truth introduced to the mind that comes with freshness.

This at some point will involve you echoing words of affirmation to yourself on a daily basis, I could remember my young friend, he was not very good on calculation course but, he will wake up and tell himself, if that my friend could do it I will do as well, He kept saying it until the fear finally left, trust me as we speak, he is a lecturer, in that same area he had issues, what you need do is renew your thought pattern, the only person that can make you better is you, and it start with changing how you think about yourself.

Deliberate Practice of deep breathing:

Deep breathing is more like a waiting process that brings you fresh ventilation in your mind any time you are tensed. This works powerfully like magic, you can decide to take a few count down of the deep breath on a low speed, anytime you do so, you noticed that your heart pumping rate will start going slow, thereby bringing calmness to you.

Do more exercise

When you are stressed or afraid of situations and event, some hormone will be secreted very high, hormones like cortisol, will be secreted high and it will take more of physical activities like exercise to slow down and thereby balancing the rate of hormones secretion.
Every time you step out of your thought and begin to focus on body and physical sensations, like I said it’s magical, try it even if momentarily, you will thank me letter.
