[ES|EN] My experience testing Alibaba's arabic food🌯
♥️¡Hola amigos, bienvenidos a mi blog!♥️
♥️Hello friends, welcome to my blog!♥️
Yesterday I went with Alejandro to try the Arab food at the "Hipergalerias" shopping center in Cumaná, the place is called Alibaba. And we were anxious to try something from that place and see if it is really profitable to eat there since it is always full of people.
Coincidentally when we went there were not so many people in line, we asked for the menu and the cheapest thing we found was a combo of Falafel in 2 for 5$ which was about 125 Venezuelan B.S approximately.
Apart from the Falafel combo we ordered a 1 liter soft drink which cost 2$, since the drinks in small glasses and small soft drinks cost 1$ and it was better for us to buy a soft drink for both of us.
The total of our lunch was 7$, which would be about 175 B.s approximately.
When I was waiting to buy, they gave me a chickpea croquette with cream so I could try their food in advance. And there were some customers who apparently had already ordered and were still waiting for their food to be delivered, which made me think it would take a while.
We were quite tired and hungry as we had been shopping in the city center since the morning. We were looking for affordable prices and comparing, between food, materials and household shopping.
But the day was nice, we laughed a lot and it was a bit hot (a negative part every time I come to Cumana) but bearable.
The time flew by between jokes, plans and a fluent conversation that Alejandro and I always have.
About 15 minutes went by when the electronic ticket started to ring to let us know that our order was ready.
We didn't expect so much right off the bat, and the falafel was big enough to satisfy our hunger.
Positive points: Their chickpea cream was very good, the croquettes were hot and the falafel as such tasted good, we didn't expect that much so they were relatively good.
Not so positive points: The cucumbers were not pickled well, they had a neutral flavor instead of the sourness they should have, and the vegetables were cold like from the fridge, not fresh, and with the hotness of the croquettes, the flavor was strange. It's as if you're eating soup and you get an ice cube in the middle.
However, that's what we went for, to try the food of the place since I love to eat and I love Arabic food even more because it is healthy and delicious.
I give these falafel a 7/10. They were not bad nor did they taste bad, but I have had better! Still if you are hungry, want to eat in a quiet place, with air and comfort, you can go to the food fair on the 3rd floor of the Hipergalerias Shopping Center where you will find their food place and many more.

I had something a little similar to this once. But it was so huge that finishing it was a massive challenge. I think it also didn't help that it was peak summer as well, so all I really wanted was beer, haha. :^)
