Heresy in relation to the words of God is teaching something outside the teachings of Christ

The Bible scriptures means a lot of things to different kind of people, to some it is book, to some it a literary fiction and to some it is a manual that governs the conduct of man kind and contains the word of God.

As stated above, what people teach about the Bible depends on their perspective of it. In my days as a Christian, I realise that the Bible is more than a doctrine, if you read it as a man who believes on things of the flesh, you would only understand little but if you read the scriptures with a spiritual connection with God it gives more enlightenment about the true meanings of the wordings in the Bible.

"Heresy" this is mostly found in men and women who preaches the doctrine without faith, so they end up speaking from perspective of what they think the wordings means.

Even the ones with faith still miss it as a result of lack of knowledge or greed, remember the bible said if the blind leads the blind, who will fall into the pit? (BOTH OF THEM OF COURSE!) so some person's knows the truth and with strong faith but they hide it from those they lead

And if the ones they lead do not find way to detach themselves, they will both fall because ignorance is not an excuse
There is more to the bible we know, but it was broken and simplified for the understanding of every man

You have spoken really well, most people try to speak from the Bible out of their own understanding but then God has promised to give his children the understanding of his words and there are people who interpret the Bible as it should be and not by assumptions or by their physical knowledge but by in depth study.
