Without Them, There Would Not Have Been Me

We all got to where ever we are today through the help of others both passively and actively. Truly in life, when we move along with good people the journey seem to be much closer, easier and enjoyable. There is this common local saying in my place that if you walk with others, no matter the distance you will not notice the length.

If I was standing alone on this journey of life, I know that I wouldn't have gone anywhere by this time. You see, a man who moves alone may start very fast and might even overtake those coming in group but sooner or later his energy will be exhausted and if God doesn't help, that might be the end for such a person.

I have a mentor in my church that always tells me never to avoid or miss fellowships. And most times I keep wondering why he tells me that, ideally I was feeling like I am even better than some brethren, I know some of the things they used to preach already and it's like they are just wasting my time.

One day, I asked him why he always asks me to come to fellowship because even at home I can do all the activities and still be vibrant. Then he told me one thing I don't always forget. He said you see firewoods, the reason why they keep burning is because their ends are joined one to another. The day you separate them and they don't have any end to join with again, the fire they have will quench.

When you leave the company that always keeps you in check, just watch out, it won't be long before you become lawless.

We all need each other to go far very far in life, like a popular saying goes two good heads are better than one. Where your limit reaches that of your partner might still be effective. I have excelled in different aspects of my life because certain people were there to guide me through.

I have experienced help from people in different aspects of my lives that if I say I would talk about, I might not able to exhaust all today. So I am going to talk about my experience on hive for today.

I think I have mentioned times without number that I never wanted registering on hive initially but a friend and brother took it upon himself as though he was going to be the one earning and kept insisting that I come and register. He kept putting pressure on me until I gave in. If not for him I wouldn't have been here today.

It didn't only end there, as a novice on the chain, he took it upon himself to train me and show me how to survive on the chain. It was him who delegated the first hive power I had to me. That friend is not any other person but @ovey10 . Till date he stills guides me, anything I find difficult on the chain he tries his best to see that i scale through. I can't say thank you enough brother, whatever I am on the chain today is because of you, thanks alot.

Another person that supported my growth on the platform was @maxwellmarcusart . When he heard I that I am already on board and that I have started working already, he was so glad. I can remember the few advise he gave me that day, he said, if you will be consistent you will enjoy. After which he delegated some hive power to me to help me work more effectively. Boss your contribution and advise was what kept me going. Each time I feel like giving up, if I remember those words of yours, I strive harder. Today, God has helped to some extend, I know a bit about the chain and I am still learning.

I can't forget people like @hopestylist @nkemakonam @princessbusayo @amberkashif , these are people I have not met before but took it upon themselves to see that I grow on the chain. They have supported me in diverse ways from boosting of my post with their ecency points, correcting me when I make mistakes and so on. They made the chain looked like home for me and I became comfortable. Those days whether my post were curated or not curated, their presence makes me want to do more.

In fact for hopestylist it was too much, that's why I call her mom, I got to know about many communities and many people through her. She took me like a brother and wanted me to grow by all means, I owe you alot ma.

My personal person @cheeamaka has also done alot in my growth on the chain. She goes through communities search for contest prompts and ensure that I participate on them. She's like my eyes on the chain, Funny enough we have not even met physically yet. Hopefully very soon we will.

Recently, I met someone through dreemport challenge, I can't afford not to talk about @dwixer. I call him boss. ever since I met him, my perspective about hive changed. He has been one of the person motivating me so far. One thing I have learnt from his life is, there a solution to every problem. Dwixer is a strong man of faith, you can't be around him and be negative minded hehhe..

He has taught me so much recently, ranging from how to trade hive on binance, and how to convert my token on hive engine into hive. Trust me I never knew those tokens could be converted into hive. I blessed God for his life.

You see in this life, we will come across different people, some to make us and some to mar us, but all this is for our good. When a good person comes to your life please do all it takes to embrace and keep them. They are rare to find.

If I had not met these persons in my life, I am sure I would not have gotten to where I am today on hive. Thank you so much and God bless you richly. I know I am yet to meet people on hive and I am ever anticipating.

These are only but few individuals, there are many others that I know I didn't mention, but I want you to know that I appreciate your love and effort on my growth on the chain. You are the best.
