Those days when I saw people doing two jobs I wondered what they were really looking for. I used to be like "How would someone just come back from the office and still go to the farm or market?" LoL. In my mind, I used to think they like stress and love money so much.

But as time went on, my eyes began to open and I saw that having multiple sources of income isn't what I thought it was, it is rather one of the best ways to keep money coming in.

We are in a very difficult time, inflation has made life bitter for many. If you earn only from one source of income, it would be very frustrating, especially if you are a salary earner.

Imagine how many days you would have to wait for your salary to come before you settle your needs, what if it's something urgent? You may even end up pilling up debts for yourself.

Gone are the days when single jobs were reliable, and little income could cover everything but nowadays, things have changed. For some people, just their children's school fees alone have already exhausted their salaries.

It might not be easy, but in my opinion, having two jobs or even more is the best.

A popular quote says "Don't put all your eggs in one basket." Relying on one source of income is very risky. You might not see it my way until you ask yourself questions like, what if this job, this project, this platform stops working today, where will I get money from?

If this investment or business didn't go as planned if everything crashes, will I still be in cash?

I believe you are already giving yourself honest answers, LOL. Having another alternative even if it doesn't yield something big is a very wise idea when it comes to earning.

Our businesses and our jobs are not in our hands, anything can happen any day any time, though no one prays for it but it's life, and we can't tell when misfortune will befall us. This is why we should have an alternative that will serve as compensation in case calamity strikes.

I won't lie, having multiple jobs is stressful but it's worth it. The mistake many people make is to do two complicated jobs at the same time, you will be weary.

One job should be the main job which you give so much attention to, then the other should be a kind of job you can do even in your leisure time. An example is a digital job, you can even open up a business and hire someone to run it for you. You don't need to actively participate in it.

In fact, it's impossible to dedicate yourself to both, one of them will surely have less of your time that is why you have to be smart when choosing the second job.

The world today has turned into something else, we have to work hard and smart to survive. Our needs are ever-increasing, single job can't meet up with all of them.

You can do as many jobs as possible and still have time for yourself and not be frustrated, all you need to do is do your research and go for jobs that you can do even during your leisure time as a side hustle.

There are so many of them out there, although some may require you to take some time to practice, especially the digital ones but I think they are worth it. If you should be very good at them, you won't regret taking your time to practice them.

Having multiple sources of income is a savior, no matter what happens one of the jobs will pay you when the other is not going well.
