Spontaneous Guitar Jam Session
Good day, fellow hivers.
This is a video of me mostly experimenting with different soloing approaches and techniques that I am familiar with over a loop that I made myself. I made the loop with the semi-acoustic guitar being played by my friend in the video with the help of a multi effects processor which also has an in-built looper, which also belongs to my friend.
The backing track is reaching just two chords, vi-V, for any guitarist that might see this. I recorded multiple single layers over one another to produce that nice compact backing track sound. The electric guitar sound has a Wah Wah effect on it, hence, the semi-catty sound. Lol. I fell in love with the Wah after hearing Jimi Hendrix's song, Voodoo child, in which he applied and executed it basically flawlessly.
There really isn't much to say besides the fact that playing the guitar and music generally gives me more joy and fulfillment that basically any other thing. It also gives me an equal level of joy when I get to share that music with as little as an audience of one.
So, thank you for watching, and do have a nice day.
@emmaba1 man Loved watching this—it’s always cool seeing someone experimenting with different soloing techniques, especially over a track you crafted yourself! The layering really adds depth, and that Wah Wah effect gives the whole piece such a unique vibe.
Thank you very much for your comment, appreciation, and encouragement.
