THE VISIONLESS TRADER

Once upon a time, there was a trader named John who lived in a small village. John had always been interested in trading and was known for his shrewd business sense. He had a keen eye for spotting good deals and was always looking for ways to turn a profit.

However, there was one thing that John lacked, and that was vision. Unlike some of his peers who had a clear idea of what they wanted to achieve in life, John had no real aspirations or goals beyond making money. He would buy and sell goods without any real purpose or direction, and his business was always characterized by short-term gains and losses.

One day, a wise old man came to the village and noticed John's lack of vision. The old man approached John and said, "My dear boy, what do you see when you look at the world around you?"

John was taken aback by the question and replied, "I see opportunities to make money. I see goods to buy and sell."

The old man nodded and said, "But what else do you see? What do you want to achieve in life? What is your vision?"

John was at a loss for words. He had never really thought about these questions before, and he realized that he had been so focused on making money that he had forgotten to think about what he really wanted out of life.

The old man continued,

"My dear boy, without a vision, you will never truly achieve anything. Your business will be aimless, and your life will lack direction."

John took the old man's words to heart and began to think deeply about what he wanted to achieve in life. He realized that he had been so focused on short-term gains that he had missed out on long-term opportunities.

From that day on, John began to develop a clear vision for his life and his business. He started to focus on building long-term relationships with his customers and suppliers, and he began to invest in new opportunities that aligned with his vision.

Over time, John's business began to thrive, and he became known for his integrity, vision, and business acumen. He realized that having a clear vision was the key to achieving success, and he was grateful to the wise old man who had opened his eyes to this truth
