THE DRAUGHT THAT ENDS THE DROUGHT.
Luke 5:1-25
A drought is a period of severe scarcity of rain, leading to poor harvest and eventual lack or scarcity of food. It signifies a long period of difficulty and lack of success.
Droughts can happen is business, education, marriage and even health conditions. If one is sick for a long time and has tried all medications, without improvement; that is a drought.
A draught on the other hand, is a sudden launch of attack on the enemy's territory. Taking the enemy unaware, catching them off guard. Capturing and taking what belongs to you. That was what the Lord did for Peter and his companions.
The enemy can turn an harvest to an enemy. The game of the spirit is unpredictable, like the game of draft. When one is about to hit breakthrough, overnight, the enemy can move the harvest behind from where it was. It is dangerous to be predicted by your enemy, and any one operating in the flesh can be easily predicted. It leads to prolonged and unwarranted struggle and frustration.
The lessons from the passage of study are as follows:
- You need Jesus to uncover the plans of the enemy.
- It is dangerous to undertake a movement or invest in business, without a clearance with the Lord. The enemy can decode and defeat men's strategy but not the Master's.
- The Lord's involvement terminates long term struggle and suffering.
- Whatever He says will surely come to pass; under whatever condition.
- Their net brake, but the fishes could not escape! Even when it looks like a collapsing business; the Lord can spring a surprise breakthrough. Even when doctors have given up on you, when He steps in; there will be a reverse order.
Now, speaking to the fishermen, in verse 10, He said, Fear not; from now henceforth thou shalt catch men. There is so much struggles, because people are in wrong places, doing the wrong things. Until you locate what the Lord had designed for you, the struggle will not end. To locate your assignment, you must first meet the Lord. Many are in church, many are praying and doing spiritual things; but very few have met the Lord. The Lord is a Spirit, you can't meet Him in flesh, you can't find Him on the surface. To meet the Lord, not only does your strategy have to change; your person and nature must change too! There is a recommended specification for the spirit.
Galatians 2:20 "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me..." If Christ truly live in you, it will show, you will know it and the world around you will know it. It is Christ in you that the enemy fears and respect; not your prayer or Bible quotations. The droughts we experience, is an indication of our departure from the Lord. When the Lord shows up, draught takes over droughts.
The leprosy of sinful men all around us, is leading to a drought of worshippers in the Church. We must renew our lives and covenants with the Lord, to end the droughts in our lives and in the Church.
God bless you!

That's not biblical. We're Christians. We aren't Jews looking to conquer to promised land. We have no enemies to invade or rob. Jesus never launched an attack against people or robbed them. The picture of the Bible that you posted is upside down. Just like most of your thinking here.
