¡Adiós Cuba bella! ❤️ Bienvenido Brasil 🥰 (ESP/ENG)

Hola a todos, espero que se encuentren muy bien. Por mi parte, vengo con muy buenas noticias, pues hace solo unos días me vine a vivir a Brasil con mis padres, mi hermano y mi esposo. A pesar de que amo mi país, la situación allá es muy difícil, es por eso que tomamos esta decisión y sé que va a ser muy bueno para nosotros así como para la familia que dejamos atrás. En este post quiero contarles un poco como ha sido toda la travesía hasta el momento y las nuevas experiencias que he vivido.

Hello everyone, I hope you are doing very well. For my part, I come with very good news, because just a few days ago I came to live in Brazil with my parents, my brother and my husband. Although I love my country, the situation there is very difficult, that's why we made this decision and I know it will be very good for us as well as for the family we leave behind. In this post I want to tell you a little about the journey so far and the new experiences I have lived.

Bueno, para llegar a Brasil, primero teníamos que tomar un vuelo hacia Guyana. Estábamos en La Habana en casa de algunos familiares de mi esposo, que nos acogieron a mí y a mi familia con mucha alegría, y el miércoles por la mañana nos despedimos de todos y nos fuimos para el aeropuerto en un carro. No pude evitar emocionarme al despedirme de la familia de mi esposo, ya que siempre me he sentido como una más de ellos, pero sé que para el fue más difícil.

Well, to get to Brazil, first we had to take a flight to Guyana. We were in Havana at the home of some of my husband's relatives, who welcomed me and my family with great joy, and on Wednesday morning we said goodbye to everyone and left for the airport in a car. I could not help but be moved when I said goodbye to my husband's family, since I have always felt like one of them, but I know that for him it was more difficult.

Al llegar al aeropuerto, pasamos las maletas y tuvimos que dejar algunas cosas fuera. Allí nos encontramos con otro muchacho que nos iba a acompañar en el viaje y estuvimos un rato en el aeropuerto esperando la hora de partir.

When we arrived at the airport, we put our bags through and had to leave some things outside. There we met up with another boy who was going to accompany us on the trip and we spent some time at the airport waiting for the time to leave.

El avión salió exactamente a las 2 de la tarde y fue una experiencia nueva para todos nosotros y yo particularmente comencé a llorar de la emoción y la sensación que me provocó el despegue, me daba miedo hasta mirar por la ventanilla. 😅
El vuelo fue bastante cómodo y como a las 9 de la noche hicimos una escala en Trinidad y Tobago. Dimos una vuelta por el aeropuerto y todo era tan nuevo para nosotros que nos parecía muy emocionante.

The plane left at exactly 2 o'clock in the afternoon and it was a new experience for all of us and I particularly started to cry from the emotion and the feeling that the take off caused me, I was scared to even look out the window. 😅
The flight was quite comfortable and at about 9 pm we had a layover in Trinidad and Tobago. We walked around the airport and everything was so new to us that it seemed very exciting.

Finalmente llegamos a Guyana como a las 12 de la noche y nos hospedamos en una casa, en la cual estuvimos hasta el mediodía del día siguiente. De allí salimos en una camioneta pequeña hacia la frontera de Brasil y gracias a Dios no hubo ningún problema al pasar y pudimos llegar a Boa Vista, que es donde nos encontramos actualmente.

We finally arrived in Guyana at about 12 o'clock at night and stayed in a house, where we stayed until noon the next day. From there we took a small truck to the Brazilian border and thank God there was no problem passing through and we were able to get to Boa Vista, which is where we are now.

El camino fue bastante largo ya que íbamos en una pequeña camioneta, pasamos por la selva y hasta vimos el río Amazonas. Todo era muy impresionante y nuevo para nosotros, estábamos viviendo una verdadera aventura. Antes de llegar al hotel donde nos estamos hospedando hicimos una parada para comer y dormir, pues faltaban más horas de viaje, entonces fuimos a comprar comida y luego todos nos acomodamos en el portal de una cafetería, algunas de las otras personas tenían hamacas, pero a nosotros nos tocó dormir en el piso y en las mesas.

The road was quite long as we were in a small van, we went through the jungle and even saw the Amazon River. Everything was very impressive and new to us, we were living a real adventure. Before arriving at the hotel where we are staying we made a stop to eat and sleep, because there were more hours of travel, then we went to buy food and then we all settled in the doorway of a cafeteria, some of the other people had hammocks, but we had to sleep on the floor and on the tables.

Fue un largo viaje desde Cuba hasta acá, pero gracias a Dios todos estamos muy bien y ya estamos en un lugar mucho más cómodo. Estoy muy agradecida porque es una aventura que estoy viviendo con mi familia y mi esposo, y estamos enfocados en el futuro y en salir adelante. En otros posts me gustaría seguirles contando de mis viajes por Brasil y esta nueva vida que estoy empezando.

It was a long trip from Cuba to here, but thank God we are all very well and we are already in a much more comfortable place. I am very grateful because it is an adventure that I am living with my family and my husband, and we are focused on the future and moving forward. In other posts I would love to continue telling you about my travels in Brazil and this new life I am starting.
