Hello friends of Ladies of Hive

I'm encouraged to answer this initiative for week #230 about what I enjoy most in my life and my future plans.

I have to admit that I've achieved all the dreams I've set for myself. I was able to become a concert pianist. I was able to travel to France, Canada, Costa Rica, and Germany. I learned several languages. I have my own home and two wonderful children. I'm a teacher. I earned my Master's in Science in Art and am currently finishing my PhD.
I've also been able to attend all the events I've wanted to participate in. I've played alongside and for all the personalities and artists I've wanted to play with. I have taught and studied with all the great guitarists in this country and some from abroad.

But of course, one always keeps dreaming, and every dream requires sacrifice and hard work to make it a reality.
For now, my next dream will be to attend the concert in Ciego de Ávila with my husband and children. And there, to perform a concert with all my Ciego de Ávila students.

I also have to finish my PhD in art science.

But what I enjoy most of all this is my children. I think I've talked a lot about them here, but I never tire of repeating it, since they are the center of my life.

I go to bed and wake up for my children. Everything I do in my life is with them in mind, so that they feel proud of the mother they have and so that I can give them the best education and upbringing possible.

I think I see my dreams come true in them, in every sense of the word. I can't imagine a single aspect of my life where they don't play a leading role.
And I don't think I'm alone in this. I believe all mothers in the world have their children as the center of their universe.
Now, that doesn't mean they're everything; besides being a mother, I'm a woman, a musician, a teacher, and everything requires balance. That's the difficult part of fulfilling dreams, of living them: balance.
If I neglect my children to prioritize my career, I won't be good at one thing or the other. If I neglect my career to take care of my children, I won't be able to offer them everything I want to.
So, to sum it up: my dreams, my plans, and everything I enjoy most in life can be summed up in my children, in my family. They are the center of my universe.
They are my entire universe.

Me animo a contestar esta iniciativa de la semana #230 sobre qué es lo que más disfruta en mi vida y mi planes futuros.

Tengo que reconocer que todos los sueños que me he propuesto realizar, los he cumplido. Pude convertirme en concertista. Pude viajar a Francia, a Canadá, a Costa Rica, Alemania. Aprendí varios idiomas. Tengo mi casa propia, dos hijos maravillosos. Soy maestra. Hice mi maestría en ciencias sobre arte y ahora mismo me encuentro terminando el doctorado.
He podido asistir, además, a todos los eventos a los que he querido participar. He tocado junto y para todas las personalidades y artistas con los que he querido tocar. He dado clases y estudiado con todos los grandes guitarristas de este país y algunos del extranjero.

Pero por supuesto que una siempre sigue soñando y cada sueño conlleva un sacrificio a mucho trabajo para que pueda realizarse.
De momento, mi próximo sueño será asistir a la jornada de concierto de Ciego de Ávila junto a mi esposo y mis hijos. Y allá realizar un concierto con todas mis estudiantes avileñas.

También me queda terminar mi doctorado en ciencias sobre arte.

Pero de todo esto lo que más disfruto es a mis hijos. Creo que de ellos he hablado muchísimo aquí pero no me canso de repetir Ya que ellos son el centro de mi vida.
Yo me acuesto y amanezco para mis hijos. Todo lo que hago en mi vida es pensando en ellos, para que se sientan orgullosos de la madre que tienen y para poder darle la mejor educación y crianza posible.

Creo que en ellos veo a mis sueños hechos realidad, en todo el sentido de la palabra. No me imagino ni un solo aspecto de mi vida, en el que ellos no jueguen un papel protagónico.
Y no creo ser la única en este caso. Creo que todas las madres del mundo tienen a sus hijos como el centro de su universo.
Ahora, eso no quiere decir que lo sean todo; ya que además de madre, soy mujer, soy músico, soy maestra y todo necesita de un equilibrio. Esa es la parte difícil de cumplir los sueños, de vivir los sueños: el equilibrio.
Si desatiendo a mis hijos para priorizar mi carrera, no voy a ser buena en una cosa, ni en la otra. Sí desatiendo mi carrera para atender a mis hijos, no voy a poder ofrecerles todo lo que quiero darles.
Por lo que, para resumir: mis sueños, mis planes y todo lo que más disfruto en la vida, se resume en mis hijos, en mi familia. Todos ellos son el centro universo.
Todos ellos son mi universo completo.
