As part of my day-to-day practice, today I allow myself to share with you a realistic portrait drawing of the face of one of the comic characters and it is Loki. played by actor Tom Hiddleston. A drawing that was inspired by Loki's gesture when he saw Sylvie, in the Loki series second season. Portrait that has been made using a small sheet of paper and a 2B graphite pencil.

Daily practice in realistic pencil drawing is important to improve your artistic skills. By spending time every day drawing, you can develop your technique and refine your style.

As with any artistic skill, practice is essential to improve. It is important to know the technique, have inspiration and creativity, and above all have fun when drawing, take advantage of the available resources to continue improving. Although drawing realistic faces requires precision and technique, it is also important to let your imagination and creativity fly to create unique and original characters.

Don't be afraid or discouraged if your first attempts aren't perfect. With time and consistent practice, you will see significant improvements in your drawing skills and experimenting with different techniques and styles. This will help you discover new ways to express yourself and develop your own unique style.

Watching the second season of Loki, I was very struck by the moment when Loki and Sylvie are face to face and show that attraction and feeling. and the idea occurred to me to capture that reaction in their looks

To create this small drawing, a 2B graphite pencil was used to begin creating the face, creating the shape of its gaze, light eyes, eyelashes, eyebrows, nose, mouth and hair.

Once this part is finished, we continue with the skin. A very soft texture was created with the 2B graphite pencil, with a very light tension in the hand and pencil as if caressing the paper, and then with the help of a small soft bristle brush to expand the graphite and thus create a smooth and couple leaving the different tones for lights and shadows visible.

Then for the darker shadows and to give depth to the portrait we will use the same 2B pencil, but using a little more pressure on the paper, but remember. Keep in mind that you must have a firm but light hand to carefully mix and blend the drawing to obtain a uniform and realistic finish.

For the hair, we take the 2B pencil and create a first layer with very soft lines following the hair fall, and then blend with the brush. We return with a second layer, but with a little more pressure to darken and applying it to the darkest areas of the hair and then blending with the brush. And finally with an eraser I have to bring out highlights, in the same way some parts of his face to give a touch of realism to the drawing.

Como parte de la practica del día a día hoy me permito compartir con ustedes un dibujo en retrato realista del rostro de uno de los personajes de los comic y se trata de Loki. interpretado por el actor.. Tom Hiddleston. Un dibujo que fue inspirado por el gesto de Loki al ver a Sylvie, en la serie de Loki segunda temporada. Retrato que ha sido realizada utilizando una pequeña hoja de papel y un lápiz de grafito 2B.

La práctica diaria en el dibujo realista a lápiz es importante para mejorar tus habilidades artísticas. Al dedicar tiempo todos los días a dibujar, puedes desarrollar tu técnica y refinar tu estilo.

Como en cualquier habilidad artística, la práctica es esencial para mejorar. Es importante conocer la técnica, tener inspiración y creatividad, y sobre todo divertirse a la hora de dibujar, aprovechar los recursos disponibles para seguir mejorando. Aunque el dibujo de rostros realistas requiere de precisión y técnica, también es importante dejar volar la imaginación y la creatividad para crear personajes únicos y originales.

No tengas miedo ni te desanimes si tus primeros intentos no son perfectos. Con el tiempo y la práctica constante, verás mejoras significativas en tus habilidades de dibujo y de experimentar con diferentes técnicas y estilos. Esto te ayudará a descubrir nuevas formas de expresarte y a desarrollar tu propio estilo único.

Viendo la segunda temporada de Loki me llamo mucho la atención el momento en que Loki y Sylvie estan frente a frente y muestran esa atracción y sentimiento. y se me ocurrió la idea de plasmar esa reacción en sus miradas

Para crear este pequeño dibujo se uso un lápiz de grafito 2B para comenzar a crear el rostro logrando crear la forma de su mirada, ojos claros, pestañas, cejas, nariz, boca y cabello.

Ya terminada esta parte continuamos con la piel. Se creo una textura muy suave con el lápiz de grafito 2B, con una tensión en la mano y lápiz muy ligera como acariciando el papel, para luego con la ayuda de un pequeño pincel de cerda suave expandir el grafito y así crear una superficie suave y pareja dejando a la vista los diferentes tonos para las luces y sombras.

Luego para las sombras más oscuras y darle profundidad al retrato usaremos el mismo lápiz 2B, pero haciendo un poco más de presión sobre el papel, pero recuerden. hay que tener en cuenta que se debe tener una mano firme pero liviana para mezclar y difuminar cuidadosamente el dibujo para obtener un acabado uniforme y realista.

Para el cabello tomamos el lápiz 2B y creamos una primera capa con líneas muy suaves siguiendo la caída del cabello, para luego difuminar con el pincel. Volvemos con una segunda capa, pero con un poco más de presión para oscurecer y aplicando en las zonas más oscuras del cabello para luego difuminamos con el pincel. Y finalmente con un borrador he ir sacando luces, de igual manera algunas partes de su rostro para así dar un toque de realismo al dibujo.

This drawing took me 4 hours of work. Although I would have liked to have included more images of the step-by-step process, unfortunately, it was not possible because it was a practice drawing done from start to finish. Este dibujo me tomó 4 horas de trabajo. A pesar de que me hubiera gustado haber incluido mas imágenes del proceso paso a paso, desafortunadamente, no me fue posible debido que fue un dibujo de practica hecho de principio a fin.
