November 9 book review
Another book I read while I was in Mexico was November 9th.

November 9th is a book written by Colleen Hoover, which as I always say is a fabulous writer who I know never disappoints.
November 9 is a very important date for Fallon, the main character. Some years before during the night of November 9 she was sleeping at her dad’s house when a fire suddenly started. As a result she now has to live with scars that are visible all over her body. She is very insecure about them and her career as an actress has failed as a result of them.
One November 9 while arguing with his father about what day it was, since he was who supposedly started the fire, a boy named Ben intervenes. Ben immediately shows interest in Fallon and after her dad leaves Ben takes Fallon on a date.
Although, Ben seems like the perfect man for Fallon, Fallon is leaving for New York tomorrow morning. They decide that every November 9 they will meet for a date for the next 5 years until she is back in LA. During their wait they have no contact with each other
Each year they learn more about one another. However, if you’ve read a Colleen Hoover book you know there has to be some drama in her book.
Slowly, we uncover the truth behind the date November 9, which did not only cause a fire which left Fallon with some visible scars, but it also caused some severe trauma for Ben which we will slowly discover.
As always Colleen Hoover has blown me away! In my opinion it deserves a 4.5/5
Something I want to highlight is that if you’ve read Ugly Love you will find some of its characters in this book, so I highly recommend reading Ugly love first as you might find some spoilers.
Good to see that there are actually still people reading books! Don't tell me you've been reading it on your phone! !LOL

True, in fact I brought to books with me and by the 5th day I had finished them, so I had to rely on my phone :/
I didn't have the impression that you were particularly bored during your trip in Mexico. If I look back at my trip through Yucatan, I remember very well that I didn't even have the time to look in the Lonely Planet where to sleep... Indeed, that was the time before the Smartphones... long ... looooong time ago... !LOL

Well I thought I wouldn’t have time to read, I just brought the books for plane. However, during the car rides I had to internet conexión so it was either reading or being very bored. Basically, I changed the time I would spend on my phone for reading time.
Just to rest would have been an other option. I personally would get sick when reading in the car. Especially when sitting in the back... !BBH

Colleen Hoover never disappoints!
I'll add this to my to-read list.
Thanks for this review.
November 9 seems to be a good book to read, Ben and Fallon cooping to meet every November 9 until Fallon comes back is a lot of sacrifice for love, but it's normal because we must do everything to protect our love.
Colleen Handover make the book very interesting.
I've read November 9, Ugly Love and a few more of Collen Hoover's books, and I totally agree with you when you say she never disappoints. I love the way she writes, and she always manages to bring a tear to my eye. All of her books are beautiful.
