Colour/Black & White - Out and About

I think when colour isn't that strong in a photo, it might be worth trying it in black and white. I much prefer the swans in monochrome. It adds something to the photo and becomes more striking.

I prefer the black and white as it reminds me of an old western town for some reason.

I like both photographs but I particularly like the lovely blue sky and the distinctive corrugated iron roof.

It's quite interesting playing around with colour and black and white and seeing which is best for the image.
