Coffee in the Rain

During a recent visit to Wimborne Folk Festival in Bournemouth, we called in at a local cafe called 'Chococake' for refreshments. The cafe was just out of the town centre so it wasn't too busy.

Once inside we realised it was no ordinary cafe.

We only popped in for a drink, but there was a nice array of goodies, including individual chocolates. Yum yum!

With the owner having a pet dog, the cafe was obviously dog friendly.

Some nice free dog biscuits for our furry friends.

We settled for a decaffinated cappuccino with almond milk and a black americano.

We also treated ourselves to a few of their delicious chocolates. With so many choices, it was difficult to choose just a few. One was vegan that tasted better than I expected.

I also had a slice of walnut cake to eat later. (Later turned out to be only 10 minutes later).

Unfortunately, the british weather let us down again. It was lovely and sunny, but as soon as we sat down outside, we had a quick shower of rain. I've never seen so many people wearing t shirts, shorts, and carrying umbrellas .... just in case. Thankfully, the rain didn't last long, so we didn't end up with too many soggy chocs!
