A Wet Walk with a Wet Dog in the Woods
It was quite dismal as we set off for our morning walk. The pooch will go walking in all weathers and thankfully, so will I, so it didn’t put us off.
At least with all the rain we've had, it's making everything nice and green again.
It started to rain once more, so we followed the footpath through the wood for a bit of shelter. There wasn’t another soul about. A few trees had uprooted themselves and lots of broken branches on the ground. It got a bit tricky underfoot.
The pooch is always interested in what I'm looking at, so it's getting difficult not to get him in the photo. He seems to love the limelight.
The damp weather is bringing out the fungi. I hope we have some good ones this year.
We returned home a little bedraggled but nothing a hot chocolate wouldn't put right!
He’s a very cute dog with lots of curiosity like a kid. I love walking in the rain too, but not in thick fog which seems spooky and dangerous.
Very lovely green shades in the woods. Hot chocolate sounded just right! A nice walking exercise in the rain.
The beauty of having a dog is that they can hear people coming before you can. I've been walking on my own so he tips me off!

I love black dog with such a big eyes, this was a nice Walk you had, the photographer too are beautiful.
That path leads you down to some pretty scenic woods. I love how rich and lovely the color is!
