Beautiful Sunday + Sublime Sunday
How's the weather at your place? It's been raining most of the day today. It's been raining in the evening almost everyday recently.
Normally we spend our Sunday around Subang and Sunway area. So today we were at Sunway Pyramid again. Lots of people today. Not sure why but the crowd was really a lot. Took us about 20 minutes to find a parking space. Maybe because it's raining, so people tend to go to shopping malls instead of the outdoor night market.
Christmas is just about a month away. So the malls are now decorated in Christmas feel. Christmas tree, ornaments, Santas, reindeers, etc...
Had our dinner at one of our favourite Shabu-shabu restaurant, 798 Shabu-shabu. Buffet dinner and I got a FREE drink for celebrating my birthday. If your birthday is one week before and after of the day you have dinner here, you will be entitled for the drink "Birthday Champ".
If you love shabu-shabu, this is a great choice. It has the full range of meat for selection. Pork, beef, lamb, fish and abalone. They have a good variety of soup base too - herbal soup, pork bone soup, mushroom soup, tomato soup, tomyam soup, etc. Vinnie and Ryenne love the mushroom soup, Halley loves tomato soup, herbal soup for me. As for daddy, he would choose among pork bone, mushroom and herbal soup depending on his mood.
I really love the sauces here. I love mixing the fried garlic, shallots, sesame with a few of the sauces here to go with my meat. The dessert is also another highlight here. Must have the ice cream and cakes after the main course.

Shabu-shabu? I never heard that kind of meal ever since. I searched it on Google, and I'm surprised that it is most likely related to Samgyupsal. Shabu term in our dialect means illegal dr*gs hahah.
Shabu-shabu is actually originated from Japan. A hotpot dish of thinly sliced meat and vegetables boiled in water and served with dipping sauces. Very similar to the Chinese steamboat or hotpot.
