My Introductory Post

Hello everyone!!!

My name is Elizabeth Oshanaiye and ​I'm happy to be here with you on this amazing platform. All thanks to a friend @twicejoy who introduced me to this great opportunity. I am from Nigeria, Kogi state to be precise.

​I was a science student but I love reading novels, which was part of my hobbies, I could easily pass for an Art student. I am a graduate of University of Ilorin and I studied Zoology which helped me to know more about animals, their characteristics and their behaviours. Life as an undergraduate was full of ups and downs coupled with the fun. This was a stage where I discovered some of my strengths and weaknesses, the pressure to meet up with lectures, expectations from parents, the urge to succeed and not wanting to disappoint them were the driving force.

I graduated in 2018, I did my NYSC after which I taught Biology in a secondary school, it is related to my course and that was the first time of teaching and it gave me a sense of responsibility. Going to classes at the right time, trying to deliver something tangible and being under a corporate teacher that put me through, the ability to meet and interact with people from different tribes because naturally I am an introvert.

​After a while I get used to people when am comfortable with them,but at first the environment was strange compared to where I was coming from which everything was available, I made new friends that impacted my life positively and some I learnt lessons through them, I observe people and environment closely before I can blend with them, though we had issues but we settled it amicably and this made us learn about individual differences.

After NYSC, I worked as a teacher in a primary school, this was tasking because you have to come down to their level, be patient with them and still help them with their spellings and writing skills. I am still teaching up till date but with a little difference because it's a secondary school, dealing with teenagers too is not that easy but with proper handling and use of the right words, you can get them to do the needful. I am striving to achieve my dreams and aspirations.

Having a great impact on the younger generation and this Hive community. I love reading about new things and surfing the internet, meeting people of like minds and goals. I also love being around people who understand me, people I can communicate with easily, I like gisting as well and I tolerate people a lot, this makes some people take me for granted, immediately I notice this I detach myself from you, I don't like to be in a toxic environment, I don't like when you are not straightforward or being manipulative.

I believe in doing to others what I want them do to me, that's why I don't illtreat people. When people offend me I let them know as soon as possible because I hate keeping grudges, inability to communicate with me makes me feel like we are not good and I don't force people to be in my life. I am also a fashion designer because I love wearing and seeing new designs, I like to see my personal wears because I make it to my own taste and I believe it is one of the things you should expect from me since there is amazing community here to share about it.

I am happy to be finally here and I can't wait to make new friends and socialize with amazing people on the blockchain. I believe this is the right place for me to share my thoughts, my feels and things going on around me. Thanks for staying tuned till the end. See you soon in my next post.

There are a few tips needed in the beginning.
Not a must rather an advise to not let the Hive and the new experience be to daunting.

Your passions in real life can be an inspiration for online life and thoughts put into writing and a brand new hive blog is great and will be rewarded with votes which is fun. Your niche, hobby, views or new ideas are appreciated and will be read. If you have questions let us on hive know. There are many hivers that will help , if you ask your questions in comments or in a discord!

There is so much so all topics will have a place here. The hivinguniverse is so diverse it’s suitable for all of us. See the list of all communities on hive in your front end drop down menu. ( sound difficult but it’s the row on the left 😉 ) never give any of your passwords and please don’t click on links you get in comments in the beginning that can cause theft. Later in you will know what to click and what not.

There is a Discord called The Terminal for newbies and it has all the answers to your questions, join in, it’s free.
