WEEK 248[ Zero anxiety?
If I had to choose one emotion to do without, it would definitely be anxiety.Personally, I believe that eliminating it could improve my life by allowing me to enjoy the present more and make decisions without the burden of constant worry as I am a person who overthinks too much to the point of making a movie in my head of a situation that is probably not how I pictured it in my head and this in turn can lead to a cycle of
situations that could cause anxiety, which in turn can lead to more stress and frustration.
However, from my perspective, eliminating anxiety can also be challenging because anxiety often motivates us to be prepared and cautious, so I may lose some of the caution that is sometimes necessary in important situations; it can also be a driver for action; for example, if I am anxious about an interview for my internship or job interview, that anxiety can motivate me to prepare better, which is why anxiety can be useful in helping me to be alert and prepared to face life's various challenges.
I think balance is the key learning to manage anxiety through techniques such as meditation, deep breathing but most of all physical exercise helps me to reduce its impact without completely losing that spark of alertness that we sometimes need
