Son de color verde aunque tambien los podemos encontrar de color rojo y naranja, poseen un arma letal para defenderse y es que segregan un liquido fetido que aleja a los depredadores.
Pueden alimentarse de frutas, semillas y algunas plantas ademas de otros insectos, no dudan en atacar si se lo proponen.

Me los encuentro en pequeños grupos, sobre todo despues de las cosechas cuando el pasto suele abundar por todos lados.
