The mysterious letter

Night had fallen, cold and dark, shrouding the city in mystery.
In the old abandoned building, a lone candle precariously illuminated a dusty room.
There, seated at a rickety desk, sat a man reading a letter with wild eyes.
‘On this cold night, I want to invite you, my life, to enjoy passion,’ the letter said in trembling handwriting. Each word exuded a burning desire, an invitation to indulge in the darkest pleasures.
The man swallowed, feeling a shiver run down his spine. Who had written such a passionate and explicit letter? And why had it been sent to him, a lonely office worker with no love affair?
He read on, each line more disturbing than the last, detailed descriptions of forbidden caresses and clandestine encounters. At the end, a simple signature: ‘Your secret admirer’.
With trembling hands, she examined the envelope once more, looking for some clue as to the sender. Nothing, except his name and address scrawled in elegant calligraphy.
A noise in the shadows startled him, making him jump. Was there someone else in the building? Could it be the mysterious author of the letter, stalking him from the shadows?
Panicking, the man ran out of the room, leaving behind the half-burning candle and the letter that had plunged him into an abyss of bewilderment and fear.
Whatever it was, he was not prepared to discover the secrets behind the burning words.
