Hi friends, I'm back again to share a little something about the book I'm reading which is titled "The Richest Man In Babylon"

I already said that I'll be reading the book everyday and sharing my experiences and knowledge acquired.

It's funny how I'm still stuck on the first page because every single sentence I read gives me so much knew knowledge.

The first page introduced Arkad the wealthy man who shared his wisdom in the book and he had two childhood friends life haven't been too kind too. They're in abject poverty.

One of the friends name was Bansir and he was a chariot builder in Babylon. When I read the circumstance the man was in and how much he suffered because of the lack of money, I understand the need to motivate myself to work harder and smarter because if I don't, I may end up struggling in the future like that.

One good advantage of money is the peace of mind it brings to you and the reason you get peace of mind is because money has the power to solve so many problems in our individual lives. These problems are usually what takes the peace away from our minds.

If you don't have motivation to work harder, I think sitting down and imagining how hard life will get for you if you end up broke in the future is enough motivation.

Apart from the luxury of wealth, the people you can support, the respect you can have, I think peace of mind is at the top of the list.

Of course if you make money in the wrong or illegal way, you may not have peace of mind at all regardless of how much you make because you'll be living with the fear of getting caught and facing judgment for your crimes before the court of law.

So although getting lots of money will bring peace in the problems it'll solve for you, getting it the wrong way will create more problems than it'll solve.

Bansir the power man in the first page of the book made me realize how important it is to be rich. Yes I see a lot of poor people when I walk down the streets but it seems to have been a normal sight for me but after reading this first piece of the book, I finally get it.

I hope you find a way to motivate yourself with these thoughts dear friends. Hard work is not easy but it's worth it in the end when you see results.
