Estamos a solo un día de estar celebrando la esperada Noche Buena, y aunque en esta temporada tenemos dos fechas importantes y muy esperadas, siento que todo el mes de Diciembre es tiempo de celebración y alegría, por eso es uno de mis meses favoritos✨
Estas semanas nos sentimos risueños y nostálgicos, y nos reunimos con nuestros seres queridos. Por esa razón, hoy mi casa fue el centro de una linda y pequeña reunión, para celebrar el cumpleaños de un amigo; bueno, realmente es amigo de mi hermana, pero yo lo quiero como otro hermano😌 Así que me gustaría compartirles nuestra pequeña fiesta navideña💖
We are just one day away from celebrating the long awaited Christmas Eve, and although this season we have two important and much awaited dates, I feel that the whole month of December is a time of celebration and joy, that's why it is one of my favorite months✨
These weeks we are feeling giggly and nostalgic, and getting together with our loved ones. For that reason, today my house was the center of a nice little gathering, to celebrate a friend's birthday; well, he's really my sister's friend, but I love him like another brother😌 So I'd like to share with you our little Christmas party💖
La madre de Moisés se puso en contacto con mi mamá para celebrar en nuestra casa una fiesta sorpresa para celebrar el cumpleaños de él, y nosotros obviamente dijimos que sí, porque es una persona apreciada por todos en mi familia. Su madre, mi mamá, mi hermana y yo estuvimos varios días planificando la reunión. Esta mañana temprano comenzamos con la decoración, que claramente debía ser de navidad.
Así que entre las cuatro comenzamos a crear un espacio bonito donde podríamos la comida y se podían tomar fotos. Además, también se empezó a cocinar la comida que íbamos a repartir.
Moisés' mother contacted my mom about having a surprise party at our house to celebrate his birthday, and we obviously said yes, because he's a person appreciated by everyone in my family. His mom, my mom, my sister and I spent several days planning the gathering. Early this morning, we started with the decorations, which clearly had to be Christmas.
So between the four of us we started to create a nice space where we could have the food and take pictures. In addition, we also started cooking the food that we were going to distribute.

No había muchos invitados, era realmente algo muy pequeño. Solo vinieron el grupo de amigos de mi hermana, eran siete adolescentes en mi casa😅 Pero todos son muy agradables, y a cada uno los aprecio mucho. Por eso estuve junto a ellos en toda la reunión, jugamos Charadas, Jenga, e incluso mi hermana inventó un nuevo juego (muy random😂) de preguntas y retos. Conversamos mucho —ellos me ven como una hermana mayor🥺— y escuchamos música.
Además, también se presentó la mamá del cumpleañero, su madrina y abuela. Así que por un momento era una adolescente hablando de anime, pero luego iba a tomar sangría con las señoras🤭 La complejidad de ser adulto joven.
There weren't many guests, it was really a very small thing. Only my sister's group of friends came, they were seven teenagers in my house😅 But they're all very nice, and each of them I appreciate very much. So I was together with them in the whole gathering, we played Charades, Jenga, and even my sister invented a new game (very random😂) of questions and challenges. We chatted a lot -they see me as a big sister🥺- and listened to music.
In addition, the birthday boy's mom, his godmother and grandmother also showed up. So for a moment I was a teenager talking about anime, but then I was going to drink sangria with the ladies🤭 The complexity of being a young adult.

Hubo mucha comida, especialmente los tequeños, que nunca pueden faltar en una fiesta venezolana. Cenamos perros calientes, y ese fue el único momento en que estuvieron quietos y callados todos😂 Luego, cuando nos disponíamos a cantar cumpleaños y picar la torta... se nos fue la luz, por segunda vez en el día. Fue horrible. Pero eso no nos iba a dañar el momento, e hicimos toda esa parte a oscuras, solo con las linternas de los teléfonos. Y justo después de que el cumpleañero soplara la vela, la luz regresó (quizás ese fue su deseo de cumpleaños)
There was a lot of food, especially tequeños, which can never be missing in a Venezuelan party. We had hot dogs for dinner, and that was the only time everyone was still and quiet😂 Then, when we were about to sing birthdays and cut the cake... the power went out, for the second time that day. It was horrible. But that wasn't going to hurt our moment, and we did that whole part in the dark, with just the phone flashlights. And right after the birthday boy blew out the candle, the light came back on (maybe that was his birthday wish)

Fue un día muy divertido y diferente, se sintió relajante. Moisés pensaba que esta sería una reunión normal entre amigos, por navidad y celebrar las vacaciones, nunca imaginó que era algo planificado para él, dado que su cumpleaños fue hace varios días. Así que la sorpresa realmente funcionó y se sintió conmovido de que sus amigos estuvieran ahí para él. Y para mí también fue agradable hacer algo lindo por alguien que quiero💜
It was a very fun and different day, it felt relaxing. Moises thought that this would be a normal gathering among friends, for Christmas and celebrating the vacations, he never imagined that it was something planned for him, given that his birthday was several days ago. So the surprise really worked, and he was touched that his friends were there for him. And for me too, it was nice to do something kind for someone I love💜

¡Y ese fue todo mi día!✨ Me encanta que las fiestas y alegrías estén presentes durante todo el mes, e intento disfrutar cada día porque Diciembre tiene algo especial que me hace sentir feliz💖 Además, necesitaba ese momento de diversión y risas para recargar mi energía.

And that was my whole day!✨ I love that holidays and joys are present during the whole month, and I try to enjoy every day because December has something special that makes me feel happy💖 Besides, I needed that moment of fun and laughter to recharge my energy.
