THREAT HUNTER

Starting soon I'll post a new blog series about my threat hunter experiences. Threat Hunting is the process of finding scammers and other illegal online activity in order to expose or shut them down. Threat Hunting can also be referred to as a tactic performed mainly in the cybersecurity operations centers to find and isolate malicious activity against organizational infrastructures. I only intend to look for scam artists, social engineers, and other sorts of bad actors with OSINT (open-source intelligence networks) during the start of this program. Also, I'm not too sure if I'll keep these special blog posts on my Elderson profile here or move it over to my '@sudohero' account.

As of this moment I have one full 'closed case' ready to be uploaded for all to see. I ran into a fake Forex trading scam with a very small amount of sophistication. The main 'investor' created alternate online profiles to boost his fake reputation in order to gain influence in the comment sections on Facebook. A large handful of scammers will only create fake reviews on their own website, however, these alternate social media accounts seems to be working in their favor as regular people did inquire about offers. This was all packaged and sent to the Commodity Futures Trading Commission. My findings will be uploaded on Hive shortly.

There was another incident where someone was claiming to sell fake social security cards, diplomas, and birth certificates on social media. This was an open and shut situation as all I had to do was take a few screenshots for an online police report. Some idiots are just plain brazen. Another interesting trend I've seen is the rise of mainstream criminal underground services being offered by fake vendors. A lot of people will offer to perform things that are illegal but take the clients money. Serves them right, if you're looking to do bad, you deserve bad things done to you. This kind of activity was normally found on platforms like the Hidden Wiki (dark web) almost ten years ago. Some people were afraid getting caught publicly announcing black market deals.

I'll do my best to keep the Threat Hunting business interesting for my readers. Content will include tools used, AI photo match makers, and more. I may even have some videos published in the future too.

Yes, my photo was created by Copilot. But it's badass. I'm keeping it

Keep up the good work. 👏🎵

Dear beloved Hive creator,

Coding poet Gudasol here to support you sharing your art + life on Hive.

As a fellow creator, I know how hard it is to get the word out there.

I built cXc.world to help creators like us get more support from the blockchain community + beyond.

Share your music on cXc.world, and copy the Markdown for a easy post includes embedded players for Spotify, Youtube, Soundcloud.

That way, you can earn HIVE + stack streams on centralized platforms, as they do still matter.

Not a music creator? No problem. You can still use cXc.world to find + share music you love.

What's next?

Preview the next evolution of cXc, Tetra.earth.

Expose local music from your area!

We're helping grassroots musicians, and you can too by adding their music (no sign up or WAX account required).

Bad news: Saying see you later to Hive! 👋

We didn't get the needed support to continue cXc.world on Hive, as our DHF proposal lacked votes, but [Good News Everyone] cXc.world will add a Markdown copy button, allowing you to easily share your music + music you find on Hive.

For now, we're on WAX, with tools you can use to mint your own Music/Media NFT collection.
