Hello Splinter Fanatics!

In today's post we're going to talk about a side of Splinterlands little explored by players, I'm talking about Tournaments. I think that to play Splinterlands well you have to be competitive, something I've never been. Maybe that's why I haven't played much of Splinterlands' tournament mode.

Currently, I don't like playing tournament mode because I don't have a collection of strong cards. However, to solve this problem we have tournaments in all the leagues (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Diamond and Champions), as well as Wild and Morden mode.

Another factor that keeps me away from tournaments is the fact that there are bots and battle helpers who are Candestinians. I say this with propriety, because I play in Modern mode and time and time again I know I'm battling bots when I catch incomplete and suspicious line-ups.

Another problem I have with tournaments is my time, I already play the Mordeno format manually and make a tremendous effort not to store energy. Playing tournaments would take even more of my precious time. For those who don't have all the cards, even at basic levels it's unlikely that they'll get good placings.

But for the extremely competitive player, it can be a new way to accumulate even more SPS. The more SPS in Staked and Power Collection the player has, the more tournaments will be available. In the image above you can see that there is a button labeled “ENTER”, which can be blue (when the player meets the requirements) or gray (the player doesn't meet the minimum requirements). However, if you don't meet some of these requirements and want to take part in a specific tournament, there's nothing that a good rental of cards or SPS can't solve.

In the tournament below, the requirements for taking part are: only Gold Foil cards, in the Diamond League, i.e. preferably having cards at the maximum level. In addition, at least 60,000 Staked SPS and 6,487,437 Power are required (only the power referring to Gold Foil cards in your collection will be counted).

This is certainly a very expensive tournament to take part in, but there are plenty of tournaments with much lower requirements that anyone can take part in. However, due to the low requirements, expect more players to battle, as well as possible bots, which will make the battles in the tournament much tougher.

Recently, I've been taking part in a tournament, taking advantage of this week's Splinterlands Community Engagement Challenge. Entry cost just 200 DEC and the total prize for the winners is $176 in net SPS. This tournament is for Silver level cards in the Modern format.

But this prize money is divided among the best players. Generally, I don't make it in, perhaps because I'm a bad player or for the reasons already mentioned.

I hope to be at least in the final prize pool and recoup my initial investment by taking part in this tournament. Tournaments are lucrative, but only for those who have an extensive and powerful collection. So, players, make the most of every opportunity!

Olá Splinter Fanáticos!

No Post de hoje vamos falar de um lado de Splinterlands pouco explorado pelos jogadores, eu estou falando dos Torneios. Acho que para jogar bem Splinterlands o jogador deve ser competitivo, uma coisa que nunca fui. Talvez por esse motivo joguei pouco o modo torneio de Splinterlands.

Atualmente, eu não gosto de jogar o modo torneio, pois eu não tenho uma coleção de cartas fortes. Porém, para resolver este problema temos torneios de todas as ligas (Bronze, Prata, Ouro, Diamante e Champions), além dos dois modo Wild e Morden.

Outro fator que me deixa longe dos torneios é o fato de haver Bots e Assistentes de batalhas (Battle Helper) candestinos. Falo isso com propriedade, pois jogo no modo Moderno e vira e volta eu sei que estou batalhando contra bots, quando pego escalações incompletas e suspeitas.

Outro problema que tenho com os torneios é meu tempo, eu já jogo o formato Mordeno manualmente e faço um esforço tremendo para não armazenar energia. Jogar torneios roubaria ainda mais meu preciso tempo. Para quem não tem todas as cartas, mesmo em níveis básicos dificilmente chegará em boas colocações.

Mas, para o jogador que é extremamente competitvo pode ser um nova forma de acumular ainda mais SPS. Quanto mais SPS em Staked e Power Colection o jogador terá mais torneios disponíveis. Na imagem acima é possível ver que existem um botão com nome "ENTER", que poderá estar em azul (quando o jogador cumpre os requesitos) e em cinza (o jogador não tem os requesitos mínimos). Porém, nada que um bom aluguel tanto de cartas quanto de SPS não resolva, caso você não atendar a alguns desses requesitos e queira participar de algum torneio específico.

No torneio abaixo, os requesitos para participa são: somente cartas Gold Foil, na Liga Diamante, ou seja, de preferência ter cartas no nível máximo. Além disso, são exigidos ao menos 60,000 Staked SPS e 6,487,437 Power (somente será contabilizado o poder referente a cartas Gold Foil, em sua coleção).

Esse com certeza é um torneio muito caro para participar, mas há uma inifinidade de torneios com requisitos muito menores, que qualquer pode cumprir. Porém, devido aos baixos requesitos esperem mais jogadores para batalhar, como também possíveis bots, o que tornam as batalhas no torneio muito mais acirradas.

Recentemente, estou participando de um torneio, aproveitando o Splinterlands Community Engagement Challenge, desta semana. A entrada custou apenas 200 DEC e o prémio total, para os ganhadores é de $176, em SPS líquido. Este torneio é para cartas do nível Prata, no formato Moderno.

Mas, esse valor de premiação é dividido entre os melhores joagdores. Geralmente, eu não consigo ficar entre eles, talvez por seu um péssimo jogador ou pelos motivos já mencionados.

Espero fica pelo menos na última faixa de premiação e recuperar o investimento inicial, pora participar deste torneio. Torneios são lucrativos, mas para quem tem um coleção bastante extensa e poderosa. Portanto, jogadores aproveite ao máximo cada oportunidade!
