New Batik Story : Starting out difficult, but beautiful in the end.

Hello #Hive Lovers...Blessing for all of us.

If you wear new clothes yourself, then you will enjoy the clothes yourself, So what if your new #batik clothes are the result of a joint decision?? Well, talking about new batik clothes together is complicated at the beginning but beautiful in the end. The process of determining colors, motifs, and prices begins with debates, there is not enough time in a day, and there may even be rejection.

"Complicated in the beginning but beautiful in the end" is a right title that fits the decision-making process and is not as bright as the smile you see today when we wear it. There will be no debate if you just choose your clothes and decide for yourself. But in a team, group, and association. Determining the right choice that is agreed upon by everyone is a process that we must enjoy and we have to live it.

Let's talk first about initiatives and opportunities. Honestly, as a team leader, I initiated the procurement of clothes that had not been available for a long time. I gave the idea that this year we would organize batik clothes together for solidarity. Initially, because this was the idea of providing free clothes, of course, everyone was happy and no one disagreed with this. Here, anyone will definitely feel happy because they feel that this idea has been well received.

It's different when we progress to the next stage about "what colors are suitable and liked by everyone. Here, many arguments begin to emerge. Some people want red, green, and dark colors like brown and black. The group that likes red thinks red is suitable for this year, especially since this color was never an option in previous years.

Likewise, the group that likes green is a little more advanced in providing examples of green batik clothing. This reason also makes sense because this color was never an option in previous years, plus color and model examples. Of course, this is more convincing for green fans. Meanwhile, a small group of people who like dark colors argue that dark colors are easier to wear with pants or skirts (for women). Three different opinions, with several narratives according to each of them.

As the highest decision maker, of course, all suggestions and opinions must be traced properly. Decision makers' mistakes in this case could put their credibility at risk. On the other hand, making the wrong decision will make a lot of people dislike the decision I made. Explaining to them about appropriate colors and motifs for this year was not as easy as I thought. However, I agree that the green color is very attractive, and the batik model proposed is also very relevant. Between red and green, I tried to assess how much batik material was available. Finally, then someone told me personally via private chat. This green color is the newest model and has just been sent by the seller with availability and still a lot of stock. I immediately conveyed this information to them, accompanied by photos and a price list that was easy to obtain, we could even negotiate the price.

Those who like dark colors have been refuted from the start because dark colors such as black, navy blue, and brown have been used as batik styles several times in previous years. Without throwing down suggestions for dark-color fans, I will try to explain that dark colors are almost universally available in other offices this year. Touching their sensitivity to their dislike of models that tend to plagiarize becomes valuable capital in subsequent discussions.

In the end, I tried to give instructions so that the batik clothes could be seen in person to find out the quality of the clothes, the latest prices, and good sewing places. The debate in a social media group for two days has finally reached the point of decision-making.

Finally, we chose green for batik clothing this year. I carry out the communication process as best as possible so that every opinion that has been submitted by them gets good and reasonable appreciation, which is the key to the answer to a desire to have red, green, and dark-colored clothing together.

As a form of happiness today, we also use this batik clothing in activities to provide social assistance to underprivileged people around our office. Happy, right? You wear new clothes and you share happiness with those who are less fortunate economically. Our able to buy these clothes with our money, but we realize that there is no greater happiness than because we are also able to spread goodness.
