Banda Aceh-Laweung-Sigli : Taking a Rare Route And Make Me Proud
Hello #hive and #travel lovers..
A journey to an area does not always have to take the same route we know, sometimes the usual route is boring, and of course, the road is a bit more crowded than the unusual route. In terms of the positives and negatives of a new path, of course, there will always be positives and negatives. However, sometimes a new path brings new opportunities and becomes its own attraction. This time I want to tell my experience last week through the Banda Aceh to Sigli route.
There are actually 3 routes to Sigli, two of which are familiar to us. The first route is from Banda Aceh to Jalan Banda Aceh Medan, followed by approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes on the road. Along the way, there are several places that you pass such as Sibreh, Indrapuri, and Samahani, and continue towards Seulimum. You should proceed to the hilly area of Saree, then descend and stay on Jalan Banda Aceh Medan until you reach Sigli City. It is still possible to access the second route on this road, as long as you find the entrance to the Sibanceh Toll Road. Continue on the road for 1 hour 30 minutes, when you will be in Sigli.
[The usual route from Banda Aceh to Sigli]
We rarely take the third route. A bit further but certainly less crowded and you will see many things along this route. The route is located in the southern part of the city. The first thing you need to do is take Jl. Laksamana Malahayati heads to Krueng Raya and continues on the path for approximately 2 hours 50 minutes or normally 3 hours. The third path is close to the beach, so you are sure to see the blue sea, the gorgeous beaches, and interesting photo spots. It should be. We are a little unlucky because the current conditions are cloudy and it is raining in some places. So it is not easy to stop.
[the unusual route from Banda Aceh to Laweung and the to Sigli]
Well, this path will also pass through hilly areas. it's just that the hills that we pass are not as crowded as the hills in Saree where people sell food a lot. There are no people selling in these hills, and we can see only the hilly areas on both sides of this trip. The conversation along the way through these hills seemed to name that these hills resemble those in the cartoon Telettubis. In hilly areas, only grass grows and there don't seem to be any large trees.
In some places, the road conditions are also not good. Some parts of the road look damaged and have potholes. The road conditions are much better after passing Pasir Putih Beach. By driving the Krueng Raya-Laweung-Sigli route, you can cover the distance in about 60 minutes. After passing through the Laweung District, you'll need to travel approximately 1 additional time to reach Sigli City.
While not as smooth as the toll road, this road is however free of congestion and you can also enjoy the views of the hills flanked by the Seulawah mountains and the blue expanse of the sea, which are the main attractions for using the roads that cross the route.
What if you are hungry or tired? I suggest that you provide provisions along the way because you will only find food and drink vendors in the village of Beureunuet and that is a minimal choice. Enjoy the scenery on this path because, in addition to not being crowded by vehicles, which means there is no congestion, the atmosphere is different compared to the Banda Aceh-Medan Road Track.
I personally hope that someday this line will be developed by the government. This will reduce the density of vehicles on the Banda Aceh Medan line, and of course, the accident rate on the line will decrease. Moreover, the opening of this line will make some of the tourist attractions in this area a frequent stopover. This will have a positive impact on the economic progress of the local community.
Once again, the journey along this route is quite interesting. My perception of this trip is that I encountered some very natural and cool scenery. This path is squeezed by sea views and hill views, especially if traveling in the morning. There are still places that deserve to be tourist attractions here, and I even stopped to enjoy the peace. Some of the photos here are real proof of the beauty and how much I enjoyed this trip.
