You want me? be faster!

Another thing that really makes me curious yet frustrated every time I try get some photos of insects is that they seem to play hard to get (which is really hard actually). You will see a lot of insects hovering over a flower from the distance, and think they look so tame, and it will be really easy to photograph them.

But as soon as you approached the flower, they fly away, hover around, hop into the flower, and never spent more than a second when you try to photograph them, not like when you observe them from the distance.

I guess they can really sense my presence, and decided to hover around and do their things fast. I guess if I want to have more photos of them I should be a lot faster next time. : )

This hairy wasp from the Scoliidae family really tested my patience at that time. It looks so tame from afar, and with its kind of big body I really think that I will get easy photos, but I was wrong. And these photos are the result of my patience for more than an hour trying to track and take photos of him on the small flowery bush.
