Whose Kid is this?
There is a funny story about how I managed to take photos of this little insect. As usual, I was strolling around my workplace for my short macro photo hunt during my break time at work.
It was so hot, and I didn't think I could find any object to shoot and I was ready to come back empty-handed. Because of the heat, some insects mostly went undetected, almost invisible.
But then one of my coworkers got close to me, and shouted " I got something for you!"
"Let me know what is this creature if you have more info!" He smiled
Unfortunately, I failed to find the common name and the Latin for this little bug. This time Mr. Google is not cooperating enough to help me find it.
From its size, I think this is the kid phase of a bigger adult bug. But then whose kid is this?
It has a thin body, and black and red color could be seen on its back. It also has a long antennae. Google's suggestion is this might be a nymph phase of a shield bug.
You can have a sense of its size from the photo below, this was when this little bug tried to cross the gap on the table. It also fell into that gap.
