Rivina humilis

This is Rivina humilis _wikipedia or known as pigeonberry, or blodberry a kind of shrub native to the American continent, but somehow I found it near my house. Not really sure how ending up here, but since this plant can be used as an ornamental plant, I guess someone imported it here and then spread it out since then.

I found it near my house, in a shaded area, which is proof that this plant is really good to be used as the cover plant in the shaded area, in which most of the other plants will die because of the lack of sunlight.

It has white-colored clusters of flowers in one branch, and then it will turn green after the pollination.

And then when the berry is ripe it will turn into blood red colored fruit I think this is where the name bloodberry comes from. It is said that the berry is poisonous to humans, but it is ok for some animals.
