PhotoFeed Contest - Macro Photography - Two Snails After Rain

It was raining that afternoon, luckily I had finished closing the villa down since it will be a very low season this end of January and also February. Maybe we might get a few inquiry for the Chinese New year, but since so far nothing is confirm so we have to cover the cushion in the outside living area, otherwise it will be a hard things to do if we have a sudden booking.

I was expecting the rain to be long and also heavy judging by the black could that day, but it only last like an hour. And then when the rain stop, I decided to go out and check things out. I then saw these snails climbing into the bamboo pole that is being used as the support for the frangipani tree.

I then decided to take my carema and took a few shots of this cute creature, but for some they might be seen as a disgusting creature, because of the shape and also the texture of its body.

The first one that I have here is the smaller one of the two. I guess they are a different species, since the color and the shape of its shell is a little bit different. You can compare them with the second species that I have at the bottom of this post.

Here is the different species of the snail, it is a lot bigger in size, and also the color pattern of the shell is very different. I was unable to get a good phtoos of the shell, since I was trying to get a sharp photos of its long eyes.
